Henri is just Gale from the hunger games lol
I was recommended this book and I’m so glad it was worth the read. Fast paced and interesting world building.

The narration made it really fun and interesting. The story was also really good. Camden was sexy and Indie was not a door mat and actually smart and caring.

This started off very odd. It was definitely too long where things could have been edited out but it was still good development

I love Sarina and Elle’s Him series but reading Sarina’s other solo books had something missing to them but this one was a good one. Good connection/development and growth.

I guessed who kidnapped Lenni but finding out why was a shocker.
I was getting annoyed with the story slowly revolving around Rain but it was still good.

The music should have been turned down during dialogue but I could still hear but I know others won’t.
I’ve read this book before (and loved it back then too) but this is my first time listening to the audiobook and the narration was great!

Amazing narration, not so amazing story

First off, I love that there was zero homophobia in this book.
Although there were really good scenes with Dean and Fitz, there was triple the amount of sex scenes for every one scene that furthered the plot. This could have been a shorter book if some of the unnecessary sex scenes were taken out.
However this was still a cute book and them falling for one another and making big unexpected decisions were nicely done.
The narration was amazing as always. A lot of cameos from characters I haven’t read yet.

Will Watt’s voice is so soothing. He did a wonderful job. This is my second time listening to this book and it breaks me every time. These two men are navigating life in socialist Poland in opposite ways and views: one a bit of a hopeless romantic, and the other narrowly ambitious. Both catalysts for their relationship’s downfall. (One more than the other). Jedrowski’s use of second-person was perfectly done. This is very similar to The Song of Achilles in the way that we know the outcome but it’s still hurts and that the narrator portrays their lover so tenderly even when they are in the wrong.

This is very similar to her and Penelope Ward’s book “British Bedmate” but with some aspects in reverse. But considering BB came after this one, technically BB is similar to AGU. Anyway, it was good and sexy!
