It’s my fault the hate is there in the first place. She needed somewhere to direct her anger, and I volunteered to be the target. Being adored is boring. I wanted something different. Each jab that falls from her pretty mouth is a challenge, and the more we fight, the hotter we burn. But soon, this game of ours goes too far. She needs to be reminded who really rules this relationship.

Loved Eli!

I was so excited to read Riley and Eli's story. I loved them together and the chemistry between them was intense. I really loved how Eli was towards the end and how he made sure to take care of Riley. I really enjoyed this story because you get intense suspense along with your romance. You get the mystery and the heat between the characters. It kept me guessing right up till the end and I loved every minute of it! S. Massery has a engaging writing style that hooks you right from the start. You get invested in the story and the characters. I love that we get moments with past characters too. I loved this book and would definitely recommend. I would also recommend this whole series if you love suspenseful romances!

I really enjoyed Smoke's story! Smoke and Nova were great together with just enough conflict to appease my angst loving heart. I really liked Nova's character, she was a bit naive but otherwise held her own pretty well. Smoke was a good guy and I liked how he took care of everyone. This was a bit of a sad story but I liked that we got to catch up with past characters. The story itself was interesting and held my attention well. I thought it was well written and had a good pace. The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and telling the story. Overall I loved Smoke and Mirrors and would definitely recommend.

Remembering every inch of her luscious body, every damn sound she’d uttered — I fell into a hole I couldn’t crawl out of. A five foot nothing, legs for days, hole.

I loved Styx and Gwen's story. The narration was beautifully done and really brought the characters to life. I'm a huge fan of duel narration and I'm so glad this story was done this way. The story of Styx and Gwen was really interesting and kept me engaged the whole time. I never saw that ending coming!! Very well written with excellent characters that worked well together. I'm glad we got to see glimpses of Lock and Raven and what's been going on with them. Lots of steam but plenty of story to back it up and keep it interesting.
Highly recommend!

Fun banter between characters!

Overall I enjoyed the first half of Travis and Viola's story. I loved the banter between them and the funny pranks they played on each other. I did have a hard time with Travis's manwhore ways. I know they weren't technically together but the fact that he was still sleeping around bothered me. It was an interesting story and it kept my attention. I was even trying to find ways to listen at home, as I usually only listen while driving. So it was very entertaining. The narration was fantastic and very well done. I usually like duel narration for duel point of view books but the voices were different enough that you had no problems knowing who was talking. Fun book and I look forward to knowing how it ends because that ending was a shocker!

Overall I enjoyed the story. There were parts that dragged and it probably could have had some of the repetitive parts taken out but it was still an interesting story. I like the idea of the four horseman. The narration was good.

This was my first book by this author and I thought the story was interesting. It kept my attention through the whole book. I was a little disappointed with the HFN ending, I hope Bear and Nita's story gets resolved in the next book. There were some parts of the narration that it was hard to tell who was talking but overall it was okay.

I don't think I have ever related to a story more in my life! I loved Morgan's character and her love for horses. I pretty much live with horses myself but mine are not wild. Brody was a good guy and I enjoyed how he had, well both of them actually, had to face their demons and learn how to love again. Highly recommend and enjoyed it immensely!!
