Where does The Return of the Prodigal Son rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was one of the best audiobooks I've listened to, and I immediately purchased my own poster of The Prodigal Son so that I can continue to reflect on Nouwen's beautiful insights into this parable.

What did you like best about this story?

I've read this parable many times, but Nouwen added layers of meaning.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

I wish Audible had more of Nouwen's audiobooks available.

Would you consider the audio edition of Tramp for the Lord to be better than the print version?

The narrator had a very convincing accent, so I felt like I was listening to the real Corrie ten Boom.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tramp for the Lord?

I enjoyed hearing about how Corrie forgave the German prison guard from her concentration camp. She didn't know if she could forgive him, but when she began to shake his hand, she felt the ability to forgive.

Which character – as performed by Nadia May – was your favorite?

Corrie was my favorite character, and I would like to listen to more of her books.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoyed learning about how she left all her plans up to God. Waiting at border crossings provided a good opportunity to share God's goodness.
