I WISH Steljes would not use the names Christ, Jesus and Bloody as his characters’ curses.

But I am a thriller fan who
finds it waaaay beyond a dead bore to read novels by
contemporary non-Christian writers like this author who gleefully spew out of their characters’ mouths “Christ,” “Jesus,” and “bloody” as his characters’ curses.

Multidimensional plot and
character development are
well-written. But I am so
SOOO over contemporary
thriller writers like these guys who gleefully use the names
“Christ,” “God,” “Jesus,” and
“bloody” as curses
enthusiastically spewed out of their characters’ mouths. But
these charming authors kick it up a notch - How? Well, they giggle as they inform readers that, wait for it… Latino parents’ (a group of whom I am a member) are not
bothered a bit by the fact that their children blaspheme and curse from the time they are
toddlers. Har, har, har -
Classy, don’t you think?

I am waaay beYOND OVER Stanford’s and his current thriller writer pals’ gleeful use of “Christ,” “Jesus,” “God,” and “bloody” as their characters’ enthusiastic curses. Sanford leaves his pals in his
oh-so-chic modern dust, by having a character spew,
wait for it… “Jesus H. Christ on a crutch” - classy, huh?

Well-written multilayered plot and fully developed relatable characters. LOVELY music by
👏Frank Morgan👏 at the beginning and ending of each chapter - so VERY glad that music is no longer played behind the narration! 👏🥰

Well-written and performed. The background “music,” ie., noise behind the speakers was so annoying I could not finish the novel.

What a WONDERFUL story!
Terrific plot and characters. The only gripe I have is Baldacci spewing out of his characters’ mouths the names Jesus and God as curses.

in every way - multilayered plot - enchanting characters, AND 💖Baldacci💖 doesn’t use the names Christ, Jesus, God and bloody as curses spewing out of his characters’ mouths as curses - as many contemporary oh-so-chic modern thriller writers do.

What a dead bore - nowhere in the Audible descriptive summary is there ANY indication that the silly author uses characters’ chats with spiritual entities from past lives to solve mysteries and save lives. Fantasy foolishness - I’m returning this as I would never have wasted a credit on such ignorant nonsense. Nevertheless, narration of the part I heard was very good.
