Good story with likable characters. Interesting concepts of how to achieve time travel and the consequences of jumping.
And you have to love Ray Porter as the narrator. I think he's capable of turning any boring story into something palatable!

I fell in in love with this series back in book 1 when Gideon was introduced. I'm not fond how this book ended on such a cliffhanger, but it happens.

Female narrator does a not so great job.
It is poorly written smut. I wasn't impressed.
Both narrators say "Dragon" Dre-Gen throughout entire book, really annoying!

I found this story odd, outdated, boring and just unintentionally complicated. It was probably good for its time, but definitely reads like 1950's pre-science era. This was my first encounter with Asimov, I'm hoping others of his works aren't as dated because this took me days to listen to it all.

Narrator did not have a very wide or good range in voices.
pPot was meh & explicit with the main female character being a straight up hoe. Seriously, how is it okay that she sleeps with 4 or 5 guys, all friends and/or family, sometimes 2 or more at once & everyone is just like "heck yeah, this is the perfect relationship. BIG FAT NO...

A good LITRPG story with a twisted ending that I'm not sure I buy. I'm thinking it has to be a ruse. We'll see though because I'm on to the next book in the series right now!

I wanted to like this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the full cast of characters performing all of their respective roles.

I loved the time jumping to important yet odd & unresolved incidents in time.
The interactions that were made during each time were we played.
And I particularly liked that 2 of the main characters got stuck because of course they broke their time travel equipment & had to live out 7 years actual time on Earth.
The icing on the cake is that they grew to love living here on Earth opposed to living on Mars, but who wouldn't with the way the living conditions were described on Mars. It was everything that Musk has boasted about for years, which doesn't sound even remotely impressive.

But I listened and relistened to the final chapter several times trying to piece together all the clues to make the story make sense. It just doesn't make any sense, like at all.

I enjoy reading & watching Sci-fi, even hard Sci-fi with detailed terminology, equations and tech talk. This just missed somewhere, somehow. Maybe I overlooked something in the beginning. But at this point I'm just left not understanding the book at all and I'm beyond frustrated with having relistened to the last 30 minutes again & again. I'm done trying to figure it out because I have officially lost interest. It's sad because I feel like it could have been a really good story...

POSSIBLE SPOILER:
The only thing that could make even remote sense is it was the computer system that set everything up. But even that doesn't make the whole book cohesive.

This final book was fairly predictable. Everything ended as expected. Happily ever after! The end!

The only part that was remotely unpredictable was in the last 5 minutes or so.
No spoilers. I'll just say that the duo saying they were taking away a "troublemaker" was just weird. It made no sense to include that little bit. It did nothing for this plot & there isn't an additional book in the series. Why even mention it?

My biggest issue with the entire series is/was the narrator.
I don't know how it is possible for a female to be able to do all of the male character voices better than all but 1 female voice (which I'm guessing is her natural speaking tone). Seriously, the male voices were done so well that you'd have thought it was a guy doing them. They were on point! But she can only do one semi-alright female voice? Boggles my mind!

The narration of Miranda just continued to get worse & worse. It was somewhat bearable in book 1. It got worse in the 2nd book. But I wanted to gouge my eardrums out this go around! If I wasn't so invested in the plot I would have DNF'ed it.

If I ever hear the combination of that nasally, high pitched, valley school inflection ("Like, oh my god"), blended with a voice that simultaneously sounds like a temper tantrum squealing 4 year old...It'll be too soon!!
I honestly don't know how this narrator pulled off such an irritating tone for a character. I'm even more shocked that it was approved!

I might check out some more stories by this author but I've been completely turned off by the narrator's performance.
