Story
I’ve been desperately looking forward to Christmas in my family’s snowy alpine chalet. Two blissful weeks of skiing, eating, and sneaking off for 'naps' to listen to my favourite audio erotica star. Yes, the man who warms my bed each night may have no idea I exist, but that doesn't stop me fantasising that his spicy stories and filthy words are for my ears only. It's set to be the most relaxing Christmas ever. Until my brother shows up… with an unexpected guest.

I enjoyed this book more than the first. So much more tension between our two main characters, plus a side POV from Kitt that is eye opening. Feelings are felt. Major twist at the end! Excited for the final installment.

Story
Gillian has been happily divorced for several years and, after trying a few dating apps, prefers to stay that way. Navigating her way through dates with fat shamers and lackluster men has left her with no desire to do anything other than work in her garden in her spare time. Who needs rude comments and awkward first-date conversation when soft roses and vibrant tulips are so much better?

I definitely related to Gillian in every way and loved the way she was portrayed. However, I didn't love the narrators - annoyingly twangy accents. I got through it, but oof - glad it's over. I enjoyed how everything turned out in the story but there's zero spice 😭 If you like Life Time romcom movies, this is for you.

Story
Life shattered my childhood dreams—no white picket fences, no dream job, and definitely no flawless husband...Well, that last part isn't entirely true. I just didn't expect my husband's three friends to be my soulmates and lovers too, one of whom fathered the life growing inside me. It all began with rivers of blood, and it ends the same. Drop by drop, we'll exorcise our demons, but I fear we'll lose too much along the way.

I wasn't sure how I would like this series but I love smut so figured I'd try it. A friend recommended it after hearing I read Haunting Adeline. Honestly, I love the guys- they're each so unique and special and I can tell why Lily couldn't choose. I love how they owned their unconventional group relationship fiercely and those that love them, totally accepted them. Yes, there's intense sex in pretty much every chapter but it's so great. Gives you some inspiration, honestly 😉 This last book had some really great surprises that I enjoyed.

I really wanted to like this...
Reviewed: 02-19-24
Personally, I feel like this narrator was not a good fit for this story. It was hard to follow along because there really wasn't any differences between the voices. Very bland. The story leaves much to be desired - I mean, the tension with the two MCs is great but hardly anything happens between them. I prefer some good spice to my novels! The overarching adventure was so confusing, and I got so lost with everywhere we went. I frequently had to go back a few chapters to recall who's who and what the hell is going on. The world(s) building was lackingggg, too. There were moments I enjoyed (Samkiel trying to learn innuendos was funny), but they were few and far between.
