Story
Did I think I was going to fall for my coach's daughter? The answer would be no. I'm still unclear on how I got into this predicament in the first place. A year ago, I was a man with one thought on his mind, the redhead I met at a hotel bar. Twelve months later, I found her. Unfortunately for me, she not only happens to be my very off-limits coach's daughter, but also . . . my new assistant and roommate.

Story
It's not like I planned to fall for my older brother's best friend. It just happened. With a perfect body covered in tattoos, and a dirty mouth, Roman is the kind of guy women notice—and believe me, I noticed. Even when I tried not to. When he finally gives in to temptation, there's no going back. At least for me. Too bad Roman doesn't see it that way. He thinks he needs to protect me and my relationship with my brother, but I don't need him to fight my battles. I just need him.

Repeats sooooo much
Reviewed: 06-22-24
I think I would have liked the story a lot better if so many things weren't repeated so often..."brother's best friend", "brother's little sister", "can't be together", "I don't want to be the reason theres a wedge between you and your only family", "we're adults" "I'm ten years older"....I bet the book could have been half the length if those phrases alone didn't repeat so often. Plus for "being adults" they were not acting like it. It seemed like there wasn't much substance to the book, they had their issues with the brother and then there was sex/sex acts, you could listen to the first few chapters then skip to the end and not really miss anything.

Story
Of all the things that could have landed in her yard, it had to be him. For most people, finding a half-naked superbeing in their yard might be a dream come true. Unfortunately for Gracie Castro, it’s the exact opposite. Especially when he’s grouchy, rude, and shows no signs of leaving anytime soon. But when a hero of mankind needs you, you do what you have to. Even if it compromises everything you know. And totally changes your life.

Connor was the best part

So Im probably in the minority with this review since I read some before I started this book but....it was just ok for me. Honestly it could have been half as long if the author didnt repeat phrases and words so much, there would be a sentence then shed repeat it again and just add F*** to it or do the same thing with a word (example "he smirked...he f****** smirked). I get she was trying to ephasize but doing it so often ended up annoying. I love Connor and his narration was spot on there just wasnt much of him for how long the book was, and the gist of the story was cute just poorly executed in my opinion with too many repeats and added in cuss words (Im fine with cussing but this seemed like she threw in cuss words which ended up taking away from the story not adding to it). Gracie and her ignorance and Im all alone or Im gonna be leaving attitude was exhausting. The female narrator isnt my favorite so maybe she added to me not liking Gracie very much, shes very monotone and so many hours of mostly her narrating was hard to take, by the end I was glad it was finally finished.

Story
What could possibly go wrong fake dating the gorgeous single dad in a small town? The answer, you fall for him. It started out perfect. Grady Whitlock needed a plus one for his business meetings, and I needed a date for a wedding. We had a plan. It was a good one. Until it wasn’t. I was not supposed to have feelings for him. I was not going to let my heart race when his soulful blue eyes stared into mine. No way should I have noticed his smile or the dimple on his right cheek or his strong arms when he held me close.

Good story but bad female narrator
Reviewed: 12-09-23
I liked the story overall and Sebatian did a wonderful job as always! The female narrator was hard to listen to the longer the book went on. Her kid voice and male voice were cringy and she seemed to over act alot which was frustrating. I like this author and liked the book but just wished it had a different female narrator!

Rachel always thought I was wasting my life on the Sinners, but being Prez is all I've ever wanted to be. When she tore us apart on her journey to become someone, I let her go. I made sacrifices for her because I knew why she had to prove herself. I just didn't realize that would involve freezing me out for years. Now, she's the best criminal attorney in the Tri-state area, and I'm still Prez—only my world is falling apart.

Good book but frustrating
Reviewed: 10-26-23
I actually liked the story, this is one of my favorite authors/series but Im confused why this is called Rex!? There was so much more of Rachael in this book than Rex, I ended up liking her growth in the end but it was frustrating for such a smart woman that it took so long for her to move on, get help and start dealing with her issues. She didnt treat Rex with the love and respect he deserved, I loved Rex....so patient, understanding and sweet! I love the male narrator hes one of my favorites, just wish there was more chapters he narrated! The female narrator was ok....Im not a fan of her "male" voices and what is with her breathy pauses? She would say a word pause then one more word pause....and kept doing that. I get she was trying to emphasize certain things or make it emotional but not every time she did it was it needed. To me it got old and frustrating, and ended up taking away from the story instead of adding to it. I will listen to Rachaels book but ironically I hope theres a lot more of Rex in that one than Rachael....and I hope the female narrator isnt so over the top with the breathy pauses...heres to hoping!

Raphael Santos. A criminal. The devil. The man was definitely suave and charismatic. The way he looked at me made me shiver, but his eyes rattled something deep inside me. I hated him with every fiber of my being. His family destroyed mine. His father started a chain reaction that could never be undone. The Santos family ruled the underworld of Florida. They were powerful, vicious, and ruthless. Mine had once ruled D.C. He may have secrets, but I have secrets of my own. An innocent boy who I’ll protect with my dying breath. My son.

Amazing story I love this author! I love Troys narration his voice is yummy! I did not like the female narrator it seemed she over acted the part (especially the other female voices of Sailors friends) and as the book went on she was even harder to enjoy. I was also not a fan of how weak Sailor seemed...her sister was a fighter and deserved Sailor to be a better sister to her. I think Sailor shouldve grown a back bone especially towards her parents way before she did. I love strong female main characters and usually this author does a great job with them but in this book I wasnt a fan of Sailor...maybe it was the narrator...maybe the character....hard to tell. Other than that I loved Rafael hes swoon worthy!

Story
I knocked up my best friend's sister. Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist. Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Now I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

FMC gets more annoying as story goes on

Teddy Hamilton was awesome! The male main character was sweet and I liked him. At the beginning of the book I liked the female main character but as the book continued she got soooo annoying, frustrating, extremely needy, selfish and acted immature. I had to fast forward a lot of the book towards the end. There were some laugh out loud funny moments but overall I would skip this book, it was more frustrating than enjoyable.

Story
I am in the most inconvenient marriage of convenience ever. What started out as two friends who wanted to make their military lives easier turned into a mess. Why? Because I stupidly fell in love with my husband. In an attempt to remedy my mistake, I severed all ties and put my life as a combat medic and Emmett Maxwell behind me. I’ve lost too many people to open myself up to love. Now I’m working as a private investigator, and fate has stepped in, forcing our paths to intersect again when I’m looking into the disappearance of a missing girl with ties to Emmett’s hometown.

Female Narrator ruined it for me
Reviewed: 02-07-23
Jason Clark was awesome as usual! Female narrator was like sandpaper to my ears, she seemed like she was over acting and what was with the whispering!? She would talk normal then whisper then an inbetween....I went from struggling to hearing her to her blowing out my ear drums. I ended up skipping her parts and only listened to Jasons. Story was decent but narrators make or break it and the female one broke it for me.
