liked the story and it had good momentum, and the first sex scene took me by suprise, then the rest of the book was just erotica, it was a shame, the whole first half of the book had a really good tempo.

how is this the conclusion, there's still unfinished stories and one of the six and the quiet man are still alive, loved the story but it seems like there's still another book needed in this series.

Authors War on Our World

overall, there's decent world building and fantasy here, and in the beginning, there's a nice balance but the author nose dives into steep social commentary, everyone in our world are depressed terrible monsters and our world has no redeeming qualities, to the author everyone is either a rapist, so sad and depressed they're gonna kill themselves and everywhere is disgusting to the author, im halfway through and im really trying hard to push through because the actual story is good, but every 5 minutes the author gets on a soap box about social commentary and it just pulls you out of the story, really tough to get through, it's like getting a steak and every other bite is really hard to chew fat, unfortunate there was real potential here; but everyone on old world are monsters so I guess I'll go be a monster with another book, I really kept waiting for the author to show good people and art and other great things but no they have a very pointed mission with this book and it has nothing to do with fantasy.

NOT a Cinderella retelling

This book series is so much more than a Cinderella retelling. In its bare resemblance, sure, fin has step brothers and an evil stepfather, but everything else is way beyond a simple re imagining this book series far surpasses such a basic story as Cinderella, and it's a massive disservice to the authors creativity to label it so, this is by far one of the most engaging fantasy books I have read in a long time and deserves to not stand in the shadow of another story .

this isn't an LGBTQ book, it's about suicide and a straight brother dealing with his gay suicidal brother, the main character regularly talks about the girl he likes and stereotypes the gay characters, missed the mark,

story was great, refreshing and unique, however I felt like while the story moved around the main characters their relationship stayed 10 feet apart till the final page, hard to root for that.
