Story
No one ever accused Kerr Macalister of being a nice man. Everyone would agree, however, that when he makes up his mind about something, no one will change it. Which is why everyone knows Isobel MacKinnon will end up his wife. Isobel spent most of her childhood in love with tall, dark, and deadly Kerr. It wasn"t until she was 15 and failed to entice Kerr into kissing her that things turned sour. Now, Kerr is the one trying to entice her. But Isobel knows how to hold a grudge and won"t be swayed unless he proves his love.

FMC is tear inducing stupid
Reviewed: 01-04-25
After a series of good FMCs why does it have to end with this one. she has no useful/ real skill and overestimates her intelligence because... she can pull pranks like a 12 year old?
I can see why one would like the MMC. But not why anyone should like or even tolerate the FMC.

Reeling from Cassiel"s confession, Dyna struggles to understand what the Blood Bond means for them both, all the while trying to stay one step ahead of a new found enemy. When reuniting with a familiar sorceress, she realizes the only way to defeat Tarn is to find her Guardians—all of them. Cassiel never meant to tie himself to a human, especially one that inexplicably draws him. But then the bond develops a startling change and puts into question everything he thought he knew. Zev straddles the line between human and wolf, unsure if his dark thoughts truly belong to the Madness.

Reviewed: 10-23-24
I feel like it started great but there hasn"t been any movement forward. The world building was great in the first one but it feels forced in this. And the multiple POVs has gone from interesting to interrupting. It could be the Second-book-syndrome so I"m going to try and finish it!

A little repetitive
Reviewed: 09-08-24
The story was too repetitive with little substance. The fantasy was not very well explained/developed. The main character was self destructive and talked too much. There were too many defeats and too few victories for the MC to actually start being invested in her after 2 full books.
