This little Christmas novella was so freaking cute. I loved hearing all the families together. I have already listened to the Fighting Love series, too, so going back in time knowing what happens in the future was really cool. Overall it was a short, spicy, fulfilling read. Loved it so much.

Yall, this book was unhinged lol. Sex bots in a futuristic setting, color me amused. It was a quick, very entertaining, smutty read. Definitely has me wanting to listen to more of her crazy stories.

This was such a touching story about two single parents learning to trust again and keep their children, as well as their hearts, safe. Ryder has been a single father to Addie ever since her mother walked out in exchange for money. Kira has been a single mother pretty much since Violet was born. When Kira struggles to find a job and start over, she is miraculously in the right place at the right time, overhearing someone talking about needing a childcare provider position filled with no luck. Well, it just so happens that Kira has a degree in early childhood education, so she puts herself out there and takes a chance by talking to the woman. But even though Kira got the job she needed, she was still struggling. Ryder finds her with her daughter in quite a sad predicament, and he bites the bullet and tells Kira he can’t allow her to stay under the conditions she was in and moves her into his home to be his nanny. Violet and Addie become so close throughout their time living together, and they don’t understand why they don’t have one of the other parents when other kids do. And seeing Kira care for Addie in a way no other woman has even had the chance to, draws Ryder in like a mother to a flame. With every day that passes that he sees the love and compassion Kira has, he falls just a little more for her. Can these two put their ugly pasts behind them and move forward together? Or will their bitterness and fear always haunt them, keeping them in a limbo from being happy? This is definitely worth the read to find out.

Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa performed so well in this audiobook. I felt every part of this story. It was incredible!

This book was so cute! A one night fling in college before Drew went to the NHL left Audrey with a big surprise. 5 years later, Drew is back in town and puts the puzzle pieces together that Audrey’s child is his. Little did Audrey know, Drew always had a crush on her in college but never admitted to it. Now that he’s back, and knows he has a child with Audrey, his feelings have resurfaced and the dude is smitten. But Audrey isn’t letting him in that easily. She’s been a single mother for 5 years and has some trust issues. Can Drew prove to Audrey and Graham (son) that he is worthy of being in their lives and earn their love? It’s a classic story if he falls first…and hard. I l thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book.

Teddy Hamilton and Andi Arndt did a great job on the dual narration of Center Ice. They killed the spicy scenes for sure!

This was a quick, cute read. A nice palate cleanser. 30 year old virgin Hadley crushes on football star Foster. When he moves into her bed and breakfast temporarily, a common miscommunication trope presents for a good portion of the book. After a bit, they start gravitating towards each other and Foster is a perfect gentleman. I’d say this is beginner level romance and perfect for young girls to start with. It’s heavy on consent and taking things slow and not doing things before you’re ready.

This was a quick, cute read/listen. It’s a classic story of the one that got away with a second chance romance. The history between Riggs and Tessa left bad blood between the two, more on Tessa’s side than Riggs’s. When football star Riggs Malone moves back home after 12 years, he has his eye on his prize right away and buys a home right next door to the one who got away. But when Tessa finds out he is her neighbor, a spiteful prank war turns into playful banter that I very much enjoyed. In pranking one another, Tessa and Riggs begin having fun and growing closer, letting go of past wrongdoings. To listen to this sweet little story play out the way it did put a smile on my face.

Cecile Foster and Josh Innerst did a good job on the dual narration.

Is there a Nikki Ash book that doesn’t consume me? The answer is no. I swear every single one becomes my new favorite. Takedown is no different. It was such a great story and tugged on all my heartstrings. Mason and Mila are most def my favorite couple of this second gen series. In Takedown you get Playboy Mason with mommy issues and a no single mom rule and hopeless romantic Mila that is a divorced single mom with toxic independency. Mason gets to know Mila on a deeper level from what started as a sort of joke by messaging her anonymously on a dating app. Of course, I’m actually getting to know her, he starts to look at her differently. Things obviously happen and they end up together and married. But all Mason wants is to take care and provide for the people he loves, while all Mila wants is to be loved without being taken care of. Can the two meet a compromise to make their marriage work? Or will their toxic pasts taint their future and wreck everything?

Avery Reid and Christian Leatherman did such a great job on this dual narration performance. I especially loved the emotional scenes and their kid voices!

What a cute freaking book! I loved the introvert representation and how well it was written. Introverted girl genius and agricultural scientist, Abby/Abigail, meets Prince Torin at her sisters’ weddings. Once at one, and another time at the other’s. From the first one, Torin was enraptured. Abby wasn’t like most girls and that’s what reeled him in. That, and people don’t say no to the prince, but Abby did. Two rejections and Torin was smitten. When Abby agrees to marry Torin in a mutually beneficial relationship, it opens a door to new experiences Abby never had and new feelings neither of them have ever felt. It was such a refreshing listen. And the spice good lawd. My eyes almost popped out of my head and my jaw definitely dropped a few times at the pure fucking filth coming from that man’s mouth.

Jason Clarke and Shaina Summerville did a phenomenal job on the voice acting. It was as if I was living that story. I loved the timid, demure shakiness to Abby’s voice and the deep rasp of Torin’s. And in the sexy scenes together…ohemgee. EARGASMIC. They played their parts SO WELL 👏🏼 I needed more!

To say I was like an addict listening to these books is an understatement. Each story sucked me in and they were all less than a one day listen for me. The character growth and trials within each book had a lot of depth and I love how each story built stepping stones for the next. Each couple faced their own problems, obstacles, and traumas (because, well, this is Nikki Ash, and Nikki is THE drama queen), but with all the problems and trials they faced, it progressed their characters and fortified their relationships. Now excuse me while I try to go figure out how to snag me a rockstar with an apadravya piercing.

Oh and all the narrations to each book was absolutely spectacular. Chef’s kiss.
