Story
Peaches is a nature pixie. Fully bonded to his orchard, he can only leave his land for a finite time. Plants, soil, daylight, and every living thing Mother Nature has on tap flow like liquid sunshine through Peaches' lively veins. Lucroy Moony was born into his vampiric second life over six hundred years ago. Death and darkness fill Lucroy's body with borrowed blood. Pixies and vampires couldn't be more different, and yet, Lucroy and Peaches find themselves drawn together time and again. But vampire myth cautions that pixie blood is deadly, and Lucroy's willing to put that tale to the test.

Terrific Narration and terrific Paranormal world
Reviewed: 11-12-24
I really enjoyed the established paranormal world. The species are well described and consistent in their abilities. The plot was fun and the end reveal exactly what you were waiting for. The performance was excellent. This is a wonderful series to listen to.

Story
Working with kids is totally my jam, and I'm damn good at what I do. Just call me Maxy Frickin' Poppins! When a new job prospect comes my way, I'm intrigued. A chance to move to Mystic Hollow (aka Monsters Hollow) to be a well-paid manny for two adorable orclings? Talk about a dream position. Sold! But when I lock eyes with the seriously sexy orc who's their guardian—and my new de facto boss—for the first time, I'm a goner. Big, muscular, and green all over–he's giving me full-on Hulk meets stern professor vibes—and I like it.

The Performance

This was such a fun book, but Greg really brought these characters to life. I was laughing out loud at the super-fabulous-and-flamboyant Max as Greg made him sparkle in a way I could not have while reading the book myself. It was truly delightful tale and an amazing narration.

Story
Felix and Lane are struggling with just how boring a "normal" life is, so when they get a chance to jump into action, they do so without a second thought - especially since they're offered a lot of money. The request is simple: find a way to retrieve a watch from police custody. But things are never as easy as they seem. Suddenly, they're caught in the middle of a family feud that could turn deadly. But no matter what, through kidnappings, car chases, and cooking mishaps, Felix knows that as long as Lane is by his side, they will find a way to set things right.

No one makes love fun like Alice!

This is a wonderful plot with quirky characters, but the best part is how Alice Winters uses snark and laughter to help her characters through big emotions. Be it love, trauma or fear, humor is used like a weapon and shield to work her characters through the tough bits of life. Super relatable, couple goals and true friendship, all narrated by the very talented Joel Leslie.

Story
Though I was born with the ability to see the dead, I struggled with it until my brother was killed and his ghost was left behind. Now, I’m determined to figure out who is responsible for his death…the problem is that Detective Maddox Booker, the one working the case, is a grumpy and stubborn man who wants nothing to do with me and definitely doesn’t believe in ghosts. It doesn’t help that I keep finding myself looking ridiculous in front of the detective, thanks to interfering ghosts who enjoy laughing at my expense.

This book was so well written and performed that I found myself laughing out loud, grabbing for tissues and trying to figure out how to add “bird-cat” to my vocabulary. The writing was quirk and the characters so real o feel like I could touch them. This will be one I listen to again!!
