First, how many times did you listen to the intro before you were able to continue on with the story? Me? About 7, but who’s really counting (me, it’s me)
Second, I absolutely loved this book! There’s just something about reading a book then listening to it and realizing how immersive the story becomes.
Third, the narrators! The narrators did such a great job bringing these characters to life

It’s been awhile since I’ve been this caught up into a book! Not that I haven’t enjoyed the other books I’ve read/listened to but this one grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it all the way through to the end. Normally my squirrel brain will have me distracted but not with this one.
All of the characters/narrators were so perfectly written/spoken that I couldn’t get enough. Women finding their power, realizing how strong they really are, men who aren’t afraid of a strong woman, sign me up!
I have even preordered Taste Me which is a companion book for this one. Just because I want to know more about Izzy, Fallon’s twin.

In true fashion, I was not prepared for the book to end (picture Janet J saying “that’s the end”) but ohhhh my goodness what a way to go out! This series just keeps getting better and better! I love led seeing characters from Midnight Fae Academy show up, that’s still one of my favorite series by Ms Foss.
I’m still stuck on which MMC is my favorite, Ty has started to grow on my more but he’s still not groveled enough for me.
Overall, this book was just what I needed

I really enjoyed my trip out of reality and into the Hell Fae realm! It’s always heartbreaking when the story has to end. But I know they’re busy creating something new for us, so it’s ok. (Insert winky faces)
There’s simply nothing better then to put your earbuds in, and listen to great narrators bring life to this magical world that two of your favorite authors created.
I can’t say I have a favorite out of the 4 men (so far) but I do know Lucifer has a lot of groveling to do before he makes it on the list (if you know, you know).
I would say to definitely put this series on your TBR list because it is a fun ride!

As a Huge Fan of Blood Alliance (Ryder is mine) this was such a perfect addition to that World. We get minimal insight into life at the Blood Universities in the B.A. books but this one, this one rips your heart out (in true Lexi fashion) and is such a great story! I love the interactions between all of the characters, I don’t have the words for how excited I am for a new series
Do yourself a favor and start this book ASAP!

Feeling slightly shocked

I have realized as I continue reading books by Ms Lake I’m becoming more and more addicted!
I thought I loved Nightshade (ahhh Jericho) and I Do, but Lucien now has a place in my heart slightly higher then Jericho.
Ms Lake’s ability to weave an addictive storyline is indescribable. I wore my headphones for hours everyday because I Needed to finish this story. Now I’m sad it’s over and have a slight book hang over.
There are moments that had me questioning decisions made but Dang are they with it.
Do yourself a favor and Read/Listen to this book! You won’t be let down

I don’t think I have the proper worlds to explain how perfect this audiobook was! The only thing that would make it better is if the narrators did dual (I think that’s where the male does all male voices, female does all females). I truly enjoyed reading the book but listening to the narrators bring it to life was something incredible!
Trust me and know that if gothic romance is your jam, Quickly grab this book

Do you know the one thing you should never do at work? Your boss. Sadly, following that particular piece of advice is much easier said than done. Ronan Maxwell is hands down the sexiest man I’ve ever met. He’s also the pushiest, most demanding, and most arrogant SOB on the planet. And even though I can’t stand him, I never stop wondering how his ridiculously pretty mouth would feel against my skin. Or whether or not that bulge in his pants is as impressive as it seems.

Enjoyable and quick

This was a cute office romance with a good amount of steam. It is definitely categorized in my RomCom section, but it has the typical “everything is going great then the sudden breakup” about an hour or so til the end. The story was flowing well until then but I think that’s the norm for these style of books.
I loved the best friends relationship, there was no petty jealousy from the best friends which made me enjoy the book even more.

My best friend messaged me and said I NEEDED to read this book. She told me what a book hangover she had because of it. Of Course I was intrigued…words can not explain how Good this book is or how quickly it sucked me in! Kallum and Halen are an incredible duo, there’s a side character I’m hoping has a bigger part in the next book. There’s some NSFW steamy scenes and some “ok, I have to pause this part to recoup” graphic crime scenes.
Overall, I can’t recommend this book quick enough! Dive head first into the beautiful psycho brain of Kallum and buckle up!

Ms Aaron is a new to me author, someone in a FB group recommended this book (thank you to whoever it was). Once I’m finished with this review, I’m searching her backlog for more!
This story had steamy NSFW moments, just the right amount of emotions, the perfect splash of crazy , and redeeming moments.
I would highly suggest giving this book a go, the narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the book to life
