Wish it had focused more on Paradise & Craeg
Reviewed: 12-30-15
This was a frustrating read for me. I loved the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. So when this came out I was so excited. Don't get me wrong, overall I liked the book. It wasn't the best ever, but it was ok.
The part that frustrated me about this book is that I got so involved in the new hires and the whole Craeg and Paradise story, that anytime it got interrupted I was so annoyed!
***Don't be fooled, this book is only half about their love story. The other half is about Butch and Marissa. I thought we already heard their story, why was SO much of this book about them?! I think J.R. Ward could had made this book a little bit more focused on the new love birds, instead of the problems of the old birds.
If you liked the Black Dagger series, you'll want to read this so go ahead and add it to your cart =)

Epic book in a fantastic series!!
Reviewed: 12-22-15
The first Chapter in this book isn't that great, so please get through it and after its over and it moves on to Ruin's part of the book, its smooth sailing from then on out.
I think he is a much more likable character, so starting off with Josephine and her bad attitude is a serious turn off to be hit with it right out of the gate.
Like I said, get through that boring first bit and you'll love the rest =)
I LOVED this book. One of the best in the Immortals after Dark series. I have criticized some of the other books in the series, so don't think I'm just blowing smoke. I do love the series and the author so I've heard them all. But seriously, this one is one of the best.
I do love the narrator, but his "female" voice...drives me insane. Other than that he is fantastic.

I've listened to every book in this series. I love and adore Abbi Glines and her writing.
There isn't too much mystery involved like a Gllian Flynn novel, but Abbi knows her audience. She understands what we come to her for and she delivers.
As with her other stories in this series, there is a set of lovers who are making their ways back into each others lives.
It's a easy read / listen. There is a good story and a happy ending.
Just enjoy this sweet treat Abbi has given us and add it to your cart =)

I really liked the story of Luke and Rain. The narrators did a fabulous job of reading this tale.
The book was very well written, of course, the author being one of my favorites.
Just like Burying Water though, this book is almost a stressful read. You want to know what happens, but you know it's a complicated set up, so it's stressful to figure out how it will end.
It's well worth a credit :)

Get ready for an intense read if you take on this series! This author has a way of bringing the characters to life. To where you love them, hate them and seriously start to care for them.... as if they are real!
Loved this book in Kellen's point of view. While reading Kiera's side in the 1st three, I always wondered what Kellen was doing when he was out, where he went, what was going on in his head. And come to find out, he was so emotional and invested in her! I almost wanted to strangle our little Kiera after hearing his side of the story. But isn't that what a good author does...make you care so much that you want to strangle an imaginary character?!
Get this book - but totally read the other three too! Worth the credit!

Loved, loved, loved book 1.
Book 2 didn't disappoint as a follow up :)
This is the authors best trilogy. Have read the other and it was good, but this one was great. Spectacular. Wonderfully delightful.
The narrator was fantastic as Kiera again and I love her other voices. Her Australian accent is delightful and her performance of Griffin is the best! Griffin is my favorite character in the whole series. Comic relief is always the best :) I giggle whenever his lines are delivered.
I've listened to this series three times now, and am patiently waiting for the release of book 4, from Kellen's view point.
Read this side of the story 1st... You won't be disappointed!
