Story
The only place Kellan Kyle has ever felt at home is onstage. Gripping his guitar in a darkened bar, he can forget his painful past. These days his life revolves around three things: Music, his bandmates, and hot hookups. Until one woman changes everything...Kiera is the kind of girl Kellan has no business wanting-smart, sweet, and dating his best friend. Certain he could never be worthy of her love, he hides his growing attraction...until Kiera's own tormented heart hints that his feelings might not be one-sided.

Love Kellen Kyle
Reviewed: 03-01-15
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
I thought he did a great job. His voice was sexy and gentle, however, mature. I agree with the others that his voice is not of a 21-year old guy. I was hoping Dan Bittner would be the narrator. He also pronounced Kiera's name wrong. That's why I gave 3 stars.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Loved the "cure for heartbreak" scene. Perfect.

Story
Gideon calls me his angel, but he's the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn't sure I was strong enough to bear.

Nag, lecture, nag, lecture......
Reviewed: 02-09-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
These two people are extremely immature and annoying. So much nagging, lecturing and possessiveness, I cannot understand what they see in each other. I've known this since the first book when Eva aggressively seduced Gideon in the limo on their way to a party then gets mad at him that he made her feel like a slut. If she wanted him to treat her special then I guess she should have waited for a special time and place for their first time. She then gets mad at him when he took her to his hotel room saved for hook ups when she was desperate to hook up. These people.....
I couldn't finish the book and I'm glad I didn't since after reading the reviews, there was no progress in any of the story lines. Grow up Eva! Stop lecturing Gideon and then selfishly do what you want. I will read the fifth book, just to close out the story lines, but skip the caveman bullshit from Gideon and the nagging from know-it-all Eva.
Has Captivated by You turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not at all!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I am easier on my husband when he makes a mistake.

This book is a great drinking game, keyword "said"
Reviewed: 11-23-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone who doesn't mind the word "said" being over-used in dialogue. It was rather distracting.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I really like her narration but did not change her voice with other characters. At times it got confusing.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Eye rolls.

Story
Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder. In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees. Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times best seller Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.

So much better than the first book!
Reviewed: 04-03-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Walking Disaster to be better than the print version?
Hell yes!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Travis. I seriously did not like the narration for Travis in Beautiful Disaster. It made me picture a dude with a Napolean complex. This Travis sounded very sexy and it made me understand why all the girls were chasing after him.
What does Dan Bittner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
That voice, yummy. I could feel the hearbreak in his voice.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I cried the whole time they were apart, the grief was believable.
