I have very mixed feeling. I feel like the story started very strong and i was enjoying the development and story line, but the ending felt rushed and very flat. I feel like It could have been developed more toward the end to round it out and make it feel like we got an actual conclusion.

Tik Tok sold me on this book in one video. If you like audio books at all, you can't miss out on this book in Audio form. The story line itself is written so well, and who doesn't love a murderous overprotective cinnamon roll, who loves your Cat as his own. The narrators they chose for this story made an already 5 star story, a 10 star experience.
And while you should always check out trigger warnings, you definitely should take the "accidental cannibalism" with a grain of salt. Don't let that be the reason you turn away. It's in reference to childhood trauma, and is not described in any detail, just mentioned in passing 2 times.

Intriguing Story

This story was definitely unique and very intriguing. The plot was well done and easy to follow most of the story. But there were definitely some places I had to back up and listen again to completely understand what was happening. The characters and interactions were captivating and sexy in the right places.
I was a bit disappointed with the ending. While not every story gets or needs a happy ending. I didn't feel like it was completely wrapped up, and wasn't expecting it to end so abruptly with no resolution to 2000 years worth of lifetimes. I feel like I could have been okay with no happy reunion / finally being together, if It hadnt ended feeling like not a single character had resolution or closure.

To see characters that represent mental health Struggles, and The reality of what happens when you walk lose a loved one. This was a fantastic story, and I cannot recommend it Enough

The story has potential.

The story has potential, But could use some work. The progression of events felt very rushed and underdeveloped. Leaving the characters very two dimensional and with no character growth. The author used situational misunderstandings a lot to Move the story along, And in many situations didn't really feel necessary. Overall it was still a good listen. I love hockey romance stories and the narrators, we're fantastic as always.

Definitely Worth Reading!

I definitely had no clue what to expect when I started this story. But everyone recommended listening to the audiobook, and spoke of how amazing the story was, and how well the narration made the story come alive.
It was definitely something, but I loved every moment of it. The story was so intriguing and well-written, and despite them both being literal serial killers, you couldn't hate them if you tried. Rowan and Sloan were amazing characters, and you wanted them to succeed and have a happy ending.
Every time he said "you'll love me someday" I couldn't help but swoon and root for him!
I highly recommend picking this up or getting the audiobook! I can't wait to start the next book in the trilogy!

Best book in the trilogy

So much happens in the series and each book is a whirlwind. But this long awaited book was so well done. Every moment had me on the edge of my seat. And I was so prepared for there to be a last page crisis or cliffhanger, and it wasn't like that. She may add another book at some point. But she did wrap this up as a good trilogy. The narrator is one of my absolute favorite narrators to listen to. Everything about this production was amazing.

I loved every moment of this book. I got book 1 on a whim months ago, and have been hooked ever sense. I am so glad book 2 was only months away, and when I tell you I was waiting at midnight for this book to drop.
Not only did the author do an amazing job, weaving this dark twisted thought-provoking fantasy, but the narrator did an amazing job bringing everyone to life! DO NOT Miss out on this story!
