Story
It’s hard to be a woman in the NHL, especially in one of the most hated positions. Olivia’s dream is to be a referee, and to get there she’ll need to work hard, stay focused, and be free of any distractions, especially ones with blue eyes and easy smiles that won’t leave her alone. This might be Robbie’s last season of professional hockey and he wants it to be his best one yet. He’s well liked amongst his teammates, crew, and officials, but there’s a new face among the crowd that he can’t forget about.

This is my first book by this author and I loved it!! Olivia is a hockey referee and meets Robbie, who is a hockey player, at her new referee job. At first, she doesn’t think they can be friends, but changes her tune over time as she gets to know Robbie. Robbie is the sweetest guy ever and I loved this cute story with them chasing their HEA. I loved that Oliva is a strong woman on the ice, even though she is dealing with some past issues. Meghan Kelly did an awesome job at the narration, as always. Her voice for each character is great and makes this a great audiobook to listen to.

There are many twists and turns in this book and it was very exciting. You need to listen to this book to find out what happens in the end. Loved this story so much and the narration by Eric Fox is great! Can’t wait to listen to the next book.

Love Cope and Sutton!
Reviewed: 12-01-24
What an amazing story this was! Sutton meets Cope for the first time while taking her son Luca to hockey camp. Even though she has been close to the Colsons for a while, she had never met Cope before. They both liked each other but it took a while for them to get closer. They both have demons from their past and together they help each other work through them. Cope is such a wonderful family man and he and Sutton deserve their HEA. It is great have the Colson clan back in this book. Lolli is fantastic and I love her attitude and was happy to see a little more of her in this book. I also loved seeing Anson again. This was a great love story and suspense book, which I couldn’t figure out until everything happened. This is a must read/listen book! I can’t wait for the next book in the series! Erin and Conner were great narrating this book and made it enjoyable to listen to.

I love Cassie and Walter and really enjoy all the books that they are in. This was a mystery about the search for a man lost in gold country. It was interesting learning about the geology in this story. I found this story easy to follow, even with all the twists and turns in it. I went through different emotions with the characters in this book and was sad a few times. This was a great book with excellent narration by Nellie Scott. She had distinct voices for each character and made the story enjoyable to listen to.

Story
Ghost stories abound in the lowcountry, and Detective Andy Winslow is about to find himself in the center of one. Andy Winslow grew up hearing campfire tales of the Scarecrow; a monster that stalked the lowcountry"s rural areas, killing people with a vengeance. Now, with farmers and their families around Charleston being murdered in record numbers, people start talking about the Scarecrow again. Andy doesn"t believe in ghost stories, though. He knows that the sort of monster behind this is of the decidedly human variety, and it"s his job to find them.

Love Flynn and Sutton!
Reviewed: 10-15-24
I love all of Melissa Foster’s books, and as always, this is one of my favorites! Sutton is a reporter working for Flynn and they are not friends. He is always criticizing her work, and she thinks that he hates all of her work. They are put out in a rainforest together with the bare minimum to do a documentary, and Sutton is not happy about it. Flynn is a survivalist so he will take care of that piece and Sutton will do the reporting. I love their time in the rainforest when they start to open up to each other and learn what they are really like. There are some scary moments and a lot of fun banter. They finally open up about their true feelings for each other and WOW, how wonderful things become! The problem is that they have to hide their new found “love” for each other at the office, and it is hard for them. Flynn is such a sweet man that you can’t help falling in love with him! I love this wonderful couple that had some things that had to get through and I loved all the other characters in this book! It is a book that you must listen to. The narration by Savannah and Jacob was off the charts and had all the emotions and made it so wonderful to listen to!

Loved Ryder and Kira! ♥️
Reviewed: 09-25-24
This was a beautiful story about Ryder and Kira, who have been through so much with their exes, finally meeting and seeing they could have a chance at love again with each other and their children. They had so much to get through first, but things just worked out for Kira to be able to eventually work for Ryder as his Nanny. Their children were not close in age, but got along so well that it was like a ready-made family, but as they tried to work through things, someone didn’t want that to happen. The story had mystery, action, romance, love, sadness, etc. You should just listen to this story because you will love it! Narration by Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa was great and it made the audiobook fantastic!

Story
When I first moved from Manhattan to this small town six years ago, I worried about many things. I worried about finding a job. I worried that I’d be bored. I worried that my relationship with charming photographer Ryan Breslow was moving too fast. But I never worried about whether the ground beneath my feet would crumble—both literally and figuratively. My marriage didn’t go as I’d imagined. A year ago, Ryan met his untimely death in a car accident that’s still under investigation.

Thriller at the Grand Canyon!
Reviewed: 09-24-24
I love all of these Forensic Geology books and this one is no exception. Cassie and Walter have a unique skill and get called to the Grand Canyon to help solve a mystery of a stranded raft with no people in it. I enjoy listening to how they figure out the story behind everything and are able to follow the trail to try and solve the mystery. Having the backdrop be the Grand Canyon this time was a lot of fun to listen to and take in the surroundings. This was a very enjoyable book, but the story and how everything wrapped up didn’t draw me in like the last few books had so I couldn’t give it 5 stars. I do look forward to listening to the next book. I thought Nellie Scott did a great job with the narration of the book and made it great to listen to. #AudiobookObsession #TheFlock
