This is the third book in a row that I have listened to by this author. I have a new fav!! The narration was excellent!! One of the best I’ve listened to in a long time and I am an avid listener completing 3 to 4 books per week. If you are in the mood for a good listen, that will leave you entertained, intrigued and pull at your heartstrings then this is the listen for you!!

Story
My partner José and I have poured everything into opening this rustic farmhouse retreat nestled high in the Spanish mountains. Finally we’re ready to welcome our first guests. But a cold chill comes over me when I recognize Saskia. She’s part of my old life, the one I made sure to leave behind, and that José knows nothing about. Saskia knows everything about me—even the terrible secret I’ve carried for so long. She’s exposed me once before. Is she here to do it again?

Karen King’s Mother In Law was amazing from beginning to end. Sadly, this story was predictable and slightly confusing with the amount of characters. Im an avid listener purchasing 3-4 titles a week. I love Karen King’s writing style and look forward to more books like The Mother In Law - an all time fav!

I was so excited for this book because Keogh and Robinson are one of my favorite author / narrator duos!!
The narrator was as wonderful as usual, but I thought the story was a bit morbid and lacking those exciting juicy bits that usually accompany Keogh’s novels. Sadly, this one was a bit difficult to finish.

I’m completely raptured by this author’s ability to make me feel as if I’m right there with the characters hovering over them and thoroughly enjoying the story of their lives!!! Lisa Jewell is a literary genius!!! Loved it from beginning to end. Every single syllable❣️

"There’s someone I want you to meet," Belle says, as a man draws up to her side. He’s tall with dark hair and stubble on his square jaw. He’s not exactly smiling, but the corner of his mouth curls upwards as he slides his hand around my daughter’s waist.
