One day, I’m getting schooled in swordplay by the guy who broke my heart — the drop-dead gorgeous Logan, who slays me every time. Blown away by book two in this series!
Reviewed: 06-30-13
I fell inlove with the first book and now can not wait to get started on book two. this is a must read with action, a continued romance and plenty of secrets. if you love action and thrills than this is for you but at the same time the maine character is still growing and discoverying herself and how to use her amazing powers. it is a jerney which is brought even more to life by a great narrator so go on and read it. yes right now!

Story
My name is Gwen Frost, and I go to Mythos Academy - a school of myths, magic, and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody's head with a sword and Logan Quinn, the hottest Spartan guy in school, also happens to be the deadliest. But lately, things have been weird, even for Mythos. First, mean girl Jasmine Ashton was murdered in the Library of Antiquities. Then, someone stole the Bowl of Tears, a magical artifact that can be used to bring about the second Chaos War. You know, death, destruction and lots of other bad, bad things.

This book is so much fun with nothing lacking. a great plot, laughter, mortifaction usually on the charactors behalf, action, blood and some good but clean romance. The charactors and the narration of those charactors is amazing. I jumped right on here and ordered the next one after having read the first in two days. I really hope she does more than four. also if you read and like check out this authors adult series the elemental assasin

What i love is the double naration and i noticed that for the next books in the series there are different narrators to go with the new charactors addressed in the books. It was also fun and you learn the charactors personalities very quickly and grow to love them. Downside is that some parts are boring and others a bit too dramatic. The story is a bit bland but there are some good action and romance seens. Overall it is ok and i will be trying the next one.

Succubus (n.) An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men. Pathetic (adj.) A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid. When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical? But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic.

Fun and flirty!

This was a fun book and I have already gotten the next book in the series. They are long enough you do not mind spending your money on them but they never drag. The are fun and flirty but unlike some supernatural romance do not get to deep in to the fanticy world. You learn to love and root for all the charactors in the book. You quickly see a smart, deep and very kind side you would not expect in the maine charactor. The narration is amazing as well so try it!

This book was better than i expected and better than reviewed. The narration is amazing and really brings everyone in to real life. i love the way the charactor grows but never leaves her tude and sass behind. it has just enough romance without being to insane for tween readers. i love the wit here and i love the inner strength that the head charactor finds in herself. this is a fun new way to look at the supernatural. also the "'s at the beggining of each chapter are a lol! just try it!

This was an amazing new twist on shapeshifters. it had a perfect blend of mystery, selfdiscovery, romance and action. We really see the charactor grow and become comfortable in all her skins, animal or human. this book is fun and flirty but never loses track of the story. The narator does a great job and brings it in to a perfect world. you will not want to put it down and i can not wait for book two!
