This was the best book of the 5 book series so far. So many times throughout I was speechless at the complexity he was weaving together, tying up loose ends and starting new ones. How many surprises can his sleeves hold?!!

I’ve read a few books on strategy now, and this one leaves them all behind. A must read for executives and those who aspire to lead others.

Mildly annoying whining sound perhaps due to the editing and compiling of the book? But that’s my only nit - a minor production blemish.

I hope the author keeps releasing new books that take in current events.

I think if I were just starting out on my epic fantasy reading I would like this. It’s clean, and quite predictable.

And Kate Reading is amazing.

But as an experienced epic fantasy reader, I have to say this was a struggle to get through at times. Definitely a noticeable notch below Sanderson or Rothfuss.

So for that reason I give it 3 stars. But my almost teenage daughter might give it more …

Save the best for last. Apart from a slightly hard to visualize tunnel escape at one point, this was another riveting tale. Go, Martha!

But that’s a very high bar!

I was hoping for another adventure with ART, since that’s how the prev book ended

It takes a conceptual book like “white fragility“ to the next level, and shows us a way to break the endless cycle of violence in this wild and wonderful USA. Great for white bodied people, police, and dark bodied people alike.

Chock full (perhaps too full?) of name dropping anecdotes, I felt like this was more a tour of her extensive interviews and research than a practical, insightful guide for developing EP.

In the end, it comes over as a long list of do’s and don’ts, rather than a framework or mental model which could explain the factors of EP, how they fit together, and how to develop them.

If the next version could add that, it would be a real contribution to the field.

I found myself wanting things to move faster (for the first time this series) in the middle. But the opening and ending were so good, it mostly made up for it.

I tried to listen for 20 minutes, but couldn"t get past the religious Christian tone. Seems like a nice message, but not in a universally accessible language at all.
