Bill Creasy brings the the people, places, culture, and time of each book of the Bible to life with his line-by-line lectures. This is a must for anyone looking for an enjoyable and enlightening way to read and understand scripture! I've downloaded every one of Bill Creasy's audio books of the Bible, and they are all top notch.

Two thumbs up! Thanks, Dr Creasy!

The Colour of Magic Audiobook By Terry Pratchett cover art

In awe of just how auful this book was

Overall
1 out of 5 stars

I am in awe of just how truly god awful this book was especially after reading reviews! I read the initial reviews, saw there were plenty of more stories from this author and thought maybe I have stumbled across something here. I loved Douglas Adams, and am a big Neil Gaiman fan and the humor was said to be similar. Well I was in a for a shock. It is extremely rare for me not to at least finish an audio book as I have a long commute. I kept listening to it hoping for some improvement in the story to at least enable me to finish listening and not feel totally cheated. Well, I just couldn't. After their encounter at the end of the ocean where they met the creature who fell offf another planet, I finally gave up. All I can say, is Audible should owe me a few free credits after the torture of even listening this far into the story. The author's disclaimer not to share his work, was the most humerous part of the book as he should have no fears at least as far as I am concerned. People go read Nevewhere or Stardust from Neil Gaiman. Go read some Brandon Sanderson. Go read some curious george, if you have to, but don't read this.

Not bad for a Dr. Who Book

Overall

Most of the doctor who books are god-awful. This story line, however, is somewhat interesting and catherine tate is the reader which is such a treat to listen to her play Donna in the book.

Better then most

this dr. who book is better then most (which doesn't say much for most of the doctor who books). Catherine Tate is also the reader. It's hard to go wrong with such a talented actress and comedian reading the story.

Another pretty dumb book. David Tennant is such a good reader however that he does make it somewhat entertaining.

Not Bad

Most of the Dr. Who books are god awful. This one is a little better then some of the other Dr. Who Books. If you are desperate for a Dr. Who story, I would consider this one. If you are not, go find a better book.

I am so glad to have found Brandon Sanderson. This Trillogy is well written and kept my rapt attention. Mr. Kramer's reading brings the story to life

David Tennant brings this story to life

I have listened to just about every Dr Who audio book, only because I am persistent and hoped at least a couple of storied might actually be half decent. Even as persistent, as I have been, I have come to the end of my rope with how awful the Doctor Who books are. Well, this book is one of the few that actually is actually half decent. David Tennant is wonderful as the reader and it is an interesting story.
