So well done. A beautifully woven story of two girls coming of age during WWII. One English, the other German. And the narrator is remarkable. Her ability to modulate her voice for each character is brilliant. I highly recommend.

This is a raw truth story. My heart goes out to this family. Unbelievable how Remington knew they had a defective trigger and refused to address it. The ultimate of corporate greed has cost many unnecessary lives and tormented heartache. God bless and may you find peace.

My husband and I always read/listen to each book assigned to my grandson for his summer reading before he begins the book. It is sad to say that many of the options from the summer reading list are worthy only of the trash bin. Many have dumbed down sentence structures, verbose passages, simplistic plots, and bland characters.
However, The Van Gogh Deception is an exception. It is fast paced, has two interwoven character perspectives, intelligent children, surprising twists, intrigue, creative solutions to problems, and targeted dialogue. The children are respectful and responsible. My husband and I read it and liked it so much that we both finish it the same day we started.
I definitely recommend. ….and I plan to download the sequel for my own listening pleasure.
Well done! Thank you!

Wow, a dozen chapters of 12 women that had unbelievable courage, energy, purpose, vision, determination. They paved the way through seemingly insurmountable challenges. These are some of the women upon whose shoulders stands all future women.
Such a great read! I’m going to listen again and take notes. I want to say the names of these women and keep their memory alive.

Story
Benjamin Franklin is the founding father who winks at us - an ambitious urban entrepreneur who rose up the social ladder, from leather-aproned shopkeeper to dining with kings. In best-selling author Walter Isaacson's vivid and witty full-scale biography, we discover why Franklin turns to us from history's stage with eyes that twinkle from behind his new-fangled spectacles. In Benjamin Franklin, Isaacson shows how Franklin defines both his own time and ours. The most interesting thing that Franklin invented, and continually reinvented, was himself.

I marvel at his energy and extraordinary contributions, even into his 80’s. Fascinating read. I definitely recommend!
