Story
The impact of The Late Great Planet Earth cannot be overstated. This blockbuster offered Christians and non-Christians of the 1970s a wake-up call to events to come, and some already unfolding, that herald the return of Jesus Christ. The years since have confirmed Lindsey's insights into what biblical prophecy says about the times we live in: the rebirth of Israel, the threat of war in the Middle East, an increase in natural catastrophes, the revival of Satanism and witchcraft.

The Greatest Story for Golf
Reviewed: 07-28-23
This started out in such a way that it was hard to follow. I am a fan of Golf, but this showed me why it is a sport today. I didn't appreciate how good I was as a younger man. This showed me why I should have played more and enjoyed it with more friends. Golf is a game that teaches us to control a club and a ball. This was a game about pride and nerves of steel. A must listen for anyone who loves life and sports.

Story
Many people today think the Bible, the most influential book in world history, is not only outdated but irrelevant, irrational, and even immoral. This explanation of the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, demonstrates clearly and powerfully that the opposite is true. The Bible remains profoundly relevant - both to the great issues of our day and to each individual life. It is the greatest moral guide and source of wisdom ever written.

This was long in some areas, but it brought Genesis to life. I have been studying the Bible and to have a Torah class that you can binge listen is great. This does not negate the need for guidance, but getting the Jewish perspective for the Bible student is nice. This really helps understand the book as it was told.

Story
The ups and downs of the economy prove Rabbi Daniel Lapin's famous principle that the more things change, the more we need to depend upon the things that never change. There's no better source for both practical and spiritual financial wisdom than the time-tested knowledge found in the ancient Jewish faith and its culture. In the second edition of Thou Shall Prosper, Lapin offers a practical approach to creating wealth based on the established principles of ancient Jewish wisdom.

Story
Most people - even people of faith - do not understand how the Bible fits together. Too many Christians accept half an inheritance, content to embrace merely the New Testament, while Jewish people may often experience the same by embracing only the Old Testament. But God has an intricate plan and purpose for both the Old and the New. In Mysteries of the Messiah, Rabbi Jason Sobel reveals the many connections in Scripture hidden in plain sight. Known for his emphatic declaration “but there’s more!” he guides us in seeing the passion and purpose of the Messiah.

Near Death Experience Opinion
Reviewed: 08-14-22
This is my second or third time through this audible book. I am working on comparison of the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas to the bible. This book has helped me to understand the relationship, and abuses of the Pharisees over the last two thousand years. This has been a very scholarly course, but it doesn't look at why the animosity might have existed. This has been very helpful in my writing, as it helped me understand, why the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus. I now understand why Jesus was feared by demons then and now.

Story
The Jewish Gospel of John is not, by any standard, another book on Jesus of Nazareth written from a Jewish perspective. It is an invitation to the listener to put aside their traditional understanding of the Gospel of John and to replace it with another one more faithful to the original text perspective. The Jesus that will emerge will provoke you to rethink most of what you knew about this gospel.

New look at the Gospel of John
Reviewed: 08-01-22
I had a hard time at first with the author's accent. It is his looking at the gospel from a different perspective that makes this a good book to know. I disagree with many of his views, while also agreeing with him often also. My near death experience is what keeps me from agreeing with common scholastic logic. This book is for people who haven't looked at Jesus from a Jewish perspective.

Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction. Hidden in an ancient biblical prophecy from Isaiah, the mysteries revealed in The Harbinger are so precise that they foretell recent American events down to the exact days.

I didn't understand the book until it was halfway through. Jonathan Cahn did a good job of reading his own book, and I can't say that about most authors. It is the kind of book that you might want to listen to again. I disagree with him in a few areas, but I came to many of the same conclusions with my current book.
