I was unsure after the first book and Nat. This book offered more back story and just so much more story advancement. They characters are starting to grow on me and now I need to know what is going to happen. Didn’t leave on quite a cliffhanger but enough for me to say I want book three asap.

Lots of twist

I’m excited for the next book. What is going to happen in the last territory! Oh boy the twists and turns of this story were good and can u think up any more strange abilities. Loving how the characters are progressing and the connection to Earth. Will they interact, will Rob (Robert) get home. Lol.
So I’m still not a fan of all the cursing!

Story
When quiet Orrin and his extroverted best friend, Daniel, were transported to a strange RPG-based world, not much changed between them. Daniel became a hero of legend, while Orrin remained his unobtrusive shadow. Only when they faced a particularly lethal foe did Orrin step out of his comfort zone and display his true worth—with powers he didn't know he had. Of course, Daniel got all the glory, but Orrin doesn't mind. He's just happy they're both still alive.

Pretty good second book
Reviewed: 07-02-24
I like the system that the author has set up and how the players interactive with the world. It was a pretty cool how the mobs seem to have their own arc and aren’t just to level. Whoa, Michael doesn’t hold back, I do wish he more then just a solo character at times. Just to give him more depth instead of a “I have to do this survive and I won’t give in to any of you people with power’.
This is an enjoyable Lit—RPG and you should give it a shot. Especially if you like a book with a lot of battles and schemes.
