Story
Binaural beats are an auditory phenomenon that occurs when two slightly different frequencies are presented to each ear, creating the perception of a third frequency—a "beat"—within the brain. This beat is not an actual sound but a result of the brain interpreting the difference between the two frequencies. This process can influence brainwave activity, guiding the mind into various states, such as relaxation, focus, or deep sleep.

I've been dealing with a lot of stress lately, and my PCP advised that I start meditating. With a mind that doesn't quite I needed to find some way to still center myself. Binaural Beats has done just that! The full effect of listening with headphones is a really relaxing experience. I've used it as quite background noise while working, and falling asleep in addition to my new meditation routine. So awesome. Looking for new "waves" books now.

Leverage your sensitivity :)
Reviewed: 02-12-24
I've learned that being highly sensitive isn't just a trait but a gift. I love how the author shows the intersection of high sensitivity with neurodivergence - I have a new perspective of myself as someone with ADHD - less as burdened and more as uniquely equipped. What really resonated with me was feeling equipped with confidence at work and especially in personal relationships. The author and warm narration encourages you to leverage your sensitivity as a strength rather than shy away from it. This bundle helped me reshape my mindset and find self-love after years of putting myself down for being fragile (hypersensitive). I've wanted to teach my kids how to become emotionally resilient, and this audiobook gives a lot of opportunities for growth and success!

Good gracious! Where was this book when I started my LLC this last year? Such a good guide!!! I'm still new in the world of LLCs, so I really appreciated the focus on the nuances of legal structures, tax advantages, and leveraging credit. Although LLCs may seem like a boring topic, the great narration kept this audiobook enlightening and practical. I appreciated the inclusion of templates, checklists, and other outside resources. There are a lot of common pitfalls that I'm now aware of, and I hope for a smoother year with my LLC going forward. Learning the traits of successful entrepreneurs was incredibly motivating!

Great way to reset your mind on nutrition
Reviewed: 02-12-24
While I'm not exactly in the target audience for this book, my mother (who is in her 50s) has been living with me and has expressed the want to make dietary changes to improve her health. I know that the challenge of adapting to her body's changing needs has felt overwhelming. We listened to this together, and it really lays out the steps in a way that is easy to understand and follow. Intermittent fasting was new for both of us, so learning about the right foods to eat while fasting and how to integrate exercises into our routines was greatly needed. It's been awesome kind of resetting our minds on nutrition and we've actually both felt and seen real results! The narration is engaging and encouraging :)

I listened to "Civil War Chronicles" with my 10-year-old son that is obsessed with history. I really appreciated that this book, tailored for young audiences, because many other books I've searched through were for a much more mature audience or were boring to listen to! This was narrated in an engaging tone for his age and brought the American Civil War alive for the both of us with stories of young heroes like William Carney and Clara Barton. It was not only educational but also deeply engaging, making the history lessons resonate with courage and empathy. The discussion questions at the end of each chapter sparked meaningful conversations at the dinner table and in the car. If you have any young history buffs... they will love this audiobook!
