Story
For the first time in more than three years, best-selling authors Anne McCaffrey and Todd McCaffrey have teamed up again to do what they do best: add another chapter to the Dragonriders of Pern. Even though Lorana cured the plague that was killing the dragons of Pern, sacrificing her queen dragon in the process, the effects of the disease were so devastating that there are no longer enough dragons available to fight the fall of deadly Thread. And as the situation grows more dire, a pregnant Lorana decides that she must take drastic steps in the quest for help.

Worst Pern book Ever!!!
Reviewed: 11-17-23
Todd try copycat his mother works. More like rehashed (badly) Anne's Pern many plots into this book.
Done before: Time-travel Weyrladies. Sick dragons. Pern in trouble with Tread without dragons to stop it!
New theme is people who can "see into the future". Like Mercedes Lackey's Heralds with Farseer talent
I was so very confused in every chapters. I didn't know were or when we are. Or even who or when different time Weyrwoman Fiona is at. Some of plots are not even needed. Worst is Todd made this Pern book not even readable.

Rogue Sci-Fi Adventure
Reviewed: 02-07-22
The beginning few chapters I was very confused. I thought the young slave girl in the 1st chapter was the same woman in next chapter. But there was two different characters, Neek and Em.
Three rogue crew of Mercy’s Pledge is transport ship, smart ass captain, young newbie man, and Neek the pilot. They all work well together in a crisis. Interaction with other aliens sometimes gets them in trouble.
I really like how Neek was disillusion to believe her homeworld would treat her, and her crew well after bring god-child home. Neek never learned how corrupt politics works after been exiled. Her naiveté cost her greatly. Especial to her crew too. I like how writer showed Em, the slave child's thoughts and feelings by torment seeing her mother beatings.
The last few chapters felt a little bit rush with different actions happening at once. I was trying to keep up which characters was hurt or who who’s.
I was told lesbian love story is “very, very, very slow burn” played out in series. There’s no sex, or love story in this book. Just good Sci-Fi space opera!
Note: I received this book from author for my honest review.

Story
Residents of Austin, Texas, so value individualism that most (but not all!) of them rally around the phrase, "keep Austin weird". In the midst of that off-kilter vibe are two mildly weird kindergarten teachers, Eleanor Cooprider and Kim Park. One of them possesses a superpower and the other recognizes superpowers in others (and she can talk to plants, though they never answer). Once they share this super-secret, their mutual attraction blossoms into love, and there is nothing weird about that.

Story
December 5th, 2013 left its mark on the North Norfolk Coast in more ways than one. A tidal surge and storm swept millennia-old cliff faces into the sea and flooded homes and businesses up and down the coast. It also buried a secret in the WWII bunker hiding under the golf course at Brancaster. A secret kept for years, until it falls squarely into the lap of Detective Sergeant Kate Brannon and her fellow officers. A skeleton, deep inside the bunker. How did it get there? Who was he...or she?

Norfolk coast with its tides, ebbs and flows is same energy Andrea Bramhall brings into her characters. Like waves changing the beach, Andrea bring us into twists plots, red herrings, few laughs with tears and one soak police car.
Detective Sergeant Kate investigate death on beach. While questions local folks, she meets Gina where sparks of romance. Which I love is slow burn getting to know each other, but Gina is holding back a secret. I was more intrigued with murder mystery. I wasn't expecting but I loved major plot ending was done.
This is not a cozy murder mystery novel.
Henrietta Meire bring wonderful emotional narration to each characters.

Don't expect anything about BDB here. This is just romance between two hard head personality. Lots of attractions with fights. Love doesn't come easy for them.
The narrated does a wonderful job with each character performances! She keeps the pace going without being flat.
I don't know why JR Ward used the title "The Rebel" it should be called "The Chef".

Dapper Vampire!
Reviewed: 08-06-18
A nice different take on vampire tales. Yes, it a little bit slow in the begin of the book, but it makes up on the second half. Its a slow burn romance between rich dapper vampire and a young seamstress. Two different worlds come clashing together with blood. I have a feeling Frame will have a sequel. But there is no cliff hanger so it could be just this book.

Extreme erotic! Give me a cold glass of beer!
Reviewed: 09-05-17
Out of all the O'Brien books I've read, this is the most sexy erotic book she ever wrote! NOTE: I would say about a good half the book is well wet sex scenes!! (So, you are warned!) Or very happy!
The rest of the book has good story and characters that does help to flow along well. Except the bad ex-girlfriend was typical flat one-side bitch. Very emotional main characters from jealousy too with soft caring love that was brilliantly written.
I wish the ending plot didn't wrapped up too fast done.
Clarke performance is very convincing telling each characters in a different vocal personalty.
