Sweet & Heartwarming
Reviewed: 01-30-22
Loved how the actors really worked well together. The talented narrators really shined in their characters. The storyline was light and held my interest. The ending although to some predictable, did leave a little unexpected surprise. I would LOVE to have this turn into a full series with recurring characters and a few new ones. Definitely one of the best multi-narrated audiobooks.

The Best Yet!

I have read all of the books in this series and this one is by far the best! All the characters from the previous books have a small part which really brings the series around full circle. This mystery is one of the very few where I was really stumped as to whom the murderer was; it had me guessing the whole time. It seems like this is the final book of the series, in which case, I’m not disappointed. However, I will miss Fairytale Cupcakes and the amazing staff!

Story
Elle is a survivor. She’s managed to piece together a solid life from a childhood of broken memories and fairy tales her mom told her to explain away bad dreams. But weekly visits to her mother still fill Elle with a paralyzing fear she can’t explain. It’s just another of so many unanswered questions she grew up with in a family estranged by silence and secrets.

Depressing Entertainment

This book seemed very interesting by the summary. When I listened to a sample I really liked the male narrator’s voice. The story is very well written, and very realistic. People that are aware of psychological disorders and possibly even experienced them to someone close to them will understand the book very well. However, the story does have some deep and dark, depressive scenes. The story does flow and the darkness of the passage does not interfere with the overall storytelling. The narrator voices are extremely captivating and kept my attention. I felt that the narrator voice were one of the biggest reasons I kept returning to the book. I usually like all books and find it very difficult to give a book anything less than four stars. I don’t believe this type of story is meant for a person like me, however I will say it is well written, well narrated and very in-depth.

This is very different from the romance books that I normally listen to with audible. I really like this book because it held my attention for a very long time. It was expertly written and had a lot of detail. The plot was slightly predictable however there were some parts I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed listening to this book and felt that the narrator didn’t excellent job. Her voice was very pleasant with enough distinction between characters. Would like to read something else by this author and would definitely listen to another audiobook by this narrator.

It’s hell on her social life. Abe is the doctor and Sam's partner in crime. He isn’t much of a criminal. Except for the kidney stealing. But he’s using that money to fund his research that he anticipates will be able to cure diabetes. So, all for a good cause...? You decide. Of course, it's hell on his social life.

I don’t normally listen to this genre of audiobooks, but I loved it. Megs narration was cute and fun. The characters were excellently done. Some of the scenes moved quickly but in general the story followed an easy to understand plot. Would love to hear another audiobook from this group!

I received this book complimentary. All opinions are my own.
This book contains so many feelings and emotions. Traveling through heartaches, depression, loss, and grief we are poetically taken on a journey of how although a little less bright, life goes on.
I found this book to be very emotional. I was able to relate to a lot of the depression, sadness, and lonesome. As a mother I was able to understand how the author was conveying his heartbreak. The stories are told in the most beautiful mannerism. There is so much depth to each page. The use of language and metaphors used really get to the bare bones of how one may feel.

Story
Heather Wells rocks! Or, at least, she did. That was before she left the pop-idol life behind after she gained a dress size or two - and lost a boyfriend, a recording contract, and her life savings (when Mom took the money and ran off to Argentina). Now that the glamour and glory days of endless mall appearances are in the past, Heather's perfectly happy with her new size 12 shape (the average for the American woman!) and her new job as an assistant dorm director at one of New York's top colleges.

Best Narrator for the Story
Reviewed: 01-16-20
I loved the narrator for this audiobook. She has a sweet, upbeat and perky pop star voice. She also does other characters in the book really well. She doesn’t fall too in to character that you get side tracked with the voice change.
The story is great! Very fun.
Heather is a young and fun character that is very relatable. In romance and the workplace she has the genuine struggle that most women have.
The story ended a bit quickly with the last three chapters somewhat meshing into one another, but there are no cliffhangers.
The story ends well enough that you can be satisfied with this book, or move on to the next, which I plan on doing.
