Interesting story with enough death and loss of characters to keep you on the edge of your seat. Decent conclusion even though it was a struggle to feel satisfied by the way things fit at the end. At the end, a decent set up for the first part of a series.

It started a bit too slow and technical. As it built more drama and action, it finished in an anticlimactic way. if it was book 1 of a series, you can handle are more subdued finish but I didn't like it. There's always clever means to advance story for a sequel but this ending still didn't leave enough for me wanting more.

One of the best books that I ever read and I didn't read a word! thank you audio books! for those of you unfamiliar with the extreme racial oppression and segregation of Apartheid, this is a must-read / listen! Trevor Noah's incredibly comical yet believable portrayal of life as a mixed youth in the multilingual South Africa is an incredibly inciteful perspective of institutionalized racism. Educate your mind and soul by grabbing a copy ASAP!
