Story
I'm naturally gifted on the field and between the sheets. With flashy cars and enough media attention to put the Royal Family to shame, I’m the definition of Most Eligible Bachelor. Every man wants to be me and every woman wants to tame me. Until Camila. The moment I lay eyes on her, I know I have to have her. She wants to keep me at arm's length. I want her naked in my bed. She thinks our worlds are too different. All I want her to think about is screaming my name. She says I’m bad news. I have three weeks to prove her wrong.

The lack of development and resolution of conflicts
Reviewed: 07-20-24
They went from her getting dolled up to go out to him forgetting she was there and them fighting to having sex. The weak character traits of the FMC were extremely off putting and made it impossible to root for the couple. That’s several hours of my life I won’t get back. I enjoyed the narrators performances, but the story itself was disjointed and lacked proper transitional moments and conflict resolutions. It was infuriating to read/listen to.

Story
Kristen Petersen doesn't do drama, will fight to the death for her friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don't get her. She's also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure that will make it impossible for her to have children. Planning her best friend's wedding is bittersweet for Kristen - especially when she meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He's funny, sexy, never offended by her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch: Josh wants a big family.

Sensational!

The audio skipped a few times throughout, but the writing was sensational! The sass of the FMC had me laughing out loud. The last few hours were heartbreaking and had me bawling my eyes out! What an incredible emotional journey! I’m excited for the next book!

Story
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Riveting from beginning to end!

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning to the very end!! It had action, adventure, sass, sex!! What more could I possible ask for? I cried, I laughed, I gasped, and with each chapter I fell more and more in love with the characters! Immediately starting book two!

Story
Blytheville, South Carolina - have you heard of it? Neither had I, until today. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and I’ve been given the ultimatum of either living on the street in Boston or accepting a job transfer down to this blank spot on the map. On day one of my new Southern lifestyle, I land myself in the hospital and meet Austin, one of the two nurses on staff. I would consider this guy absolutely gorgeous if I were into the whole tanned, smoky blue eyes, and messy sex-hair look, but I’m...not. Okay, I’m lying. If Austin wasn’t my type before, he definitely is now.

Fantastic!!

I was hesitant to purchase this one after the last book in the series. But this book was soooo much better and I’m glad I gave this author another shot to win me over as a fan. I can sense the improvement in the writing quality over the last three books I’ve listened to and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found the characters relatable and charming.

Story
I have a nightmare job and a divorce at the age of 32. Then my ex-husband, Rick, moved in next door with his life-size Barbie doll. But life pitched me a curveball in the form of a retired Major League Baseball player, Logan Grier. Could life be perfect after all? Of course not. My two worlds collided. Hot temp met the ex, and a full-on bromance was born, but that’s only the beginning. The “man flu” has come out of nowhere and hit both Logan and Rick with a virus they’re claiming to be worse than childbirth. In fact, they’re pretty sure their end is near.

Negative Nasty *puke*

The main character irritated me to no end. I understand that sadly many women feel similarly about their bodies, especially after having a baby. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a shift or growth of character throughout the story. She didn’t see her body as awe inspiring at any point really. She constantly had a negative view of it. And the fact is, she was the same weight she was in college. Like wtf?! No. Hated the main character. She was essentially a bitter shrew the entire time and it was incredibly distracting from what could have been a great book about self growth. All the negativity put a bad taste in my mouth throughout the entire book.
