Story
In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child—not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power—the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.

Boring and not worth the hype
Reviewed: 01-04-22
I don’t get the hype around this book. It drags on and by the time it gets exciting, it’s over. This story follows the lifetimes of a nymph and while exciting things happen, they are written like she is just doing everyday activities. I love a good story about Greek gods but I won’t be reading anymore from this author.

Story
When Elizabeth Bennet first knew Mr. Darcy, she despised him and was sure he felt the same. Angered by his pride and reserve, influenced by the lies of the charming Mr. Wickham, she never troubled herself to believe he was anything other than the worst of men - until, one day, he unexpectedly proposed. Mr. Darcy's passionate avowal of love causes Elizabeth to reevaluate everything she thought she knew about him.

Boring and with no resolve
Reviewed: 08-18-21
I don’t know if this book was boring or the narrator made it seem that way. What could have been a very interesting storyline was flat and went nowhere. The narrator read it with no energy, almost lethargic. There is no resolve to the great mystery of the whole book, just more questions. I was hoping to be transported to Greece but the book couldn’t even do that. I haven’t been this disappointed in a book in a long time.
