This did not go the way I thought it would. It is very compelling and thought provoking. I liked the characters and trying to figure this out right along with them. This a first book by this author for me. I will give his others a go.

Story
Another arsonist has picked up where the last one left off. Only this new guy is even more dangerous and doesn't care whether the buildings he burns are occupied or not. Hundreds of people are put in harm's way, and it's up to us to rescue them. My firefighter boyfriend Travis—a calendar model with a sweet spot for dogs and lazy days in bed—is the last, best defense against the criminal. Every time we get a call, I hold my breath and hope that I'll see him again. And when we find our way back into each other's arms, we hold on tightly, racing to get all our loving in before the dawn.

Nicely done story with a few surprises
Reviewed: 12-21-24
These two are on the hunt again. Looking for the fire starter as well as working through their new relationship. They both have bumps and bruising along the way.i do like them working to make their life better together even though they are unsure. The action portion keeps me busy as the firebug and her father’s killer are chased but mot yet caught. There are a few surprises that kept me wondering. This is a continuation of the first book in the series so I could recommend reading that first before this one. The narration is nicely done. Carrie Coello and Rowan Knightly do a good job.

Good but did not love the execution
Reviewed: 12-21-24
Good story but didn't love the execution. Maybe a different delivery would have pullled me in more. It is interesting and makes me not want to climb high mountains at the same time. It amazes me that the weather is so crazy up there and can change on a dime. Then it can basically erase anything previous like it/they were never there. Wow! The power of mother nature! Overall I liked parts of the story and it does make me think but others I just could not connect with them.

Winter is coming, and Lissa Ramsey is homeless and alone. On the run from the Bear God cult, she's living rough and staying under the radar. But she can't outrun the demon bear inside her—the one planted there by the cult leader. It's angry and hungry—and out for blood. Tank Morrison has enough to deal with, trying to handle his broken grizzly and looking after his even more broken crew. But Lissa's newly awakened bear needs help, and the only thing he can do is bring her back to the Bad Bloods and try to keep her safe from the cult—and from her own out-of-control animal.

Lissa and Tank meeting and getting together is what introduced me to this author and this series. I am a huge fan of shifter stories. I am not Sure how I missed reading these but I will be remedying that. I enjoy the characters the humor and the story.
So much fun getting to meet this crew. They all have quirky personalities. They are going to be interesting in the coming books.
I also didn’t realize they were from previous stories by this author. I will have to check out her other series.

Birthdays. I loathed them. Especially when my best friend’s present included a tarot card reading. Skeptical, when I was warned I’d meet a dangerous wolf who would change my life, I laughed. Dating was the last thing on my mind. However, the young woman was right.

Love that cover!

Great story! Have you seen that cover? Wow! That is what drew me to this story. I love wolf shifters so I was excited to see what would happen in a Piper Stone paranormal book. I really liked Jackson and his brother as well as pack dynamic. Sedona was difficult for me at times. She has a responsibility that I did not foresee but mostly it was moved aside so she could do her thing with Jackson. That irritated me. I loved her job, her thought process and her no nonsense attitude. This has some surprises in it and easily kept my interest. Overall it’s a great beginning to a new series and I look forward to more. Skylar Morgan did the narration and did a wonderful job.

Good story but I wanted more
Reviewed: 12-18-24
This is the second in the series and it does not seem to follow along the same path as the first. I thoroughly enjoyed the first in the series and have recommended to many but this one did not pull me in and I am not sure why we have a couple cops that get main roles in the story. I fully expected this would be more Sharpe and Walker togetherness but it almost seemed more like a Walker and Eve story. I am sad that it did not hold up to the first one as I have been looking forward to this one.

Story
I might be a famous rock star, but inside Fork Lick, NY, my biggest fan is a Merino sheep named Baabara. I’ve got a hundred reasons why I’ve avoided my family since graduating high school and never looked back – but when my big sis Colleen makes me an uncle times two, I need to meet her little bacon bits. It’s supposed to be an easy breezy visit – rock the babies, quality time with the sheep, and a nice family argument or three.

Jackson and Bella!
Reviewed: 12-18-24
An amazingly good story to end this series! I loved every second and gobbled it up like Sunday dinner. There are many humorous times that I loved as well as a more serious side of saving the farm and his music. The story unfolds nicely and made me wish I could join this family.
This one brings the bad boy of rock home but all is not as it seems with him. At times I really felt for him with the way his family acted towards him. Pretty sure anyone would be distant with the comments made. He feels his family pushes him away before he even gets a chance to be a part of their life. Then add in his contract problems..my heart really went out to this guy. But on the brighter side he has Baabara! I love her reactions and her love of all things Jackson! Many, many chuckles due to her antics!
Bella works in his lifestyle and I was unsure if she would be able to look at Jackson “The Rockstar “ and fall for him. All it took was Jackie-boy aka Jackson to come out once he got comfortable on the farm and she was toast!
These two are the epic ending to this remarkable series. I loved each story and this one fell right in line! I am sad these fun stories are over but luckily I can reread them to enjoy time on the Bedd Fellows Farm.
Thanks for the sensational series!

There are three things I hate: Bratwurst in any form, my neighbors boinking like farm animals at 3 AM, and Chase Jett. Mostly I hate Chase Jett. It's been 10 years since he took my virginity - I'd make a bratwurst joke, but the unfortunate truth is that it would have to be a brat-best joke, and yes, it kills me to admit that - and now he's not only a billionaire, he's also my new boss.

In here we have the neighbors of Tony who have their own story to tell. I enjoyed Karen and Pete’s trip as they ran Into quite a few obstacles. It was interesting to see how they deal with everything. This is good but I liked book 1 better as it had more humor and wit. Narration by Nathaniel Priestly is well done! I enjoyed what he brought to the story.
