I absolutely loved this one! This is the fourth in the series and can be read as a standalone but I would still recommend reading previous books as they are soo good. This book does deal with some heavy topics, from both the hero and heroine side of things. This book is about Waylon, one of the twins, and we really get to delve into his personality and relationship with his twin. They both deal with depression though it seems to hit Wilder harder/deeper and he deals with it differently. This book deals with the topic of self harm and depression with close family relatives/relationships. Harlow has recovered from an accident that was traumatic and very difficult. Her father is the one that deals with a lost limb, being in a wheelchair and the chronic pain and is the one that has some depression and self harm tendencies. Harlow is Waylon's ex's little sister. This story is age gap and ex's little sister but it is soo cute. Harlow and Waylon end up connected in a group chat that is for horse lovers and a bit like a support group/advice. Waylon is added by his friend but never introduced so he doesn't know who everyone is and they don't know who he is. Harlow and Waylon start chatting with each other in a side text and really get to know each other that way. Both enjoy it because of everything they have going on in their lives and the potential for reputations and history to have ideas formed about them based on reputation/family reputation and history so both are enjoying it being about what they share and feeling free and safe to share and be their genuine selves. This story was really well written and deals with the hard topics really well. I thought it was realistic and shows both sides and without judgement. Harlow and Waylon are so cute together as they really just connect and become a safe place for both to be. They do have quite a few obstacles to overcome but the biggest one is Harlow's sister and the fact that Waylon and she dated though it was a long time ago. This story really built the connection and it really worked for me because of that. The connection was so genuine and good for both of them. I loved when they started communicating and knowing who each other were. Waylon at that point knew Harlow was the one from the group chat but she didn't. I loved the openness in this one as Harlow asks for information and lessons from Waylon on dating and guys and sex. It was fun and balanced out the seriousness of the other stuff going on. I loved getting to see the deeper side of both Waylon and Wilder and can't wait for Wilder's book. Truly loved this one!
Please read the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book if you struggle with suicide and self harm.
The narrators did a phenomenal job with the characters and actions within this story! They really brought it to life and did such an amazing job with their personalities.

I enjoyed this one. I liked the characters and was engaged with them. Bella is matched with three Viken males that all tested together and are stationed at the IQC, a remote communications station. Bella is happy with her men though a little overwhelmed with three mates though she gets on board pretty quickly. I enjoyed watching all of them together and building a relationship. Things quickly change though when one of Bella's mates is being framed and Bella has the knowledge and expertise with technology and hacking in order to find the truth and save her mate. Due to her experiences on Earth though and the relationships being new with trust being built there are some miscommunications between some of them that they have to work through as well as they become a team and work through getting to know personalities and figuring out exactly what everyone needs. I liked this one and thought it was well done. It pulled me in from beginning to end and I really liked it. I'm looking forward to more books set in Viken.

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and pretty much starts with a bang with the three sisters getting ready to transport to Alera in order to find their kidnapped mother. Their mother is the Queen of Alera but when her husband is murdered in front of her and she is able to escape with 2 trusted guards before they can kill her as well, she runs to Earth to hide out and raise her daughter but always with the plan to come back. It has now been 27 years and she has the daughter she was pregnant with, Trinity, as well as 2 more, Faith and Destiny, and they have a plan to root out the traitors and conspirators and find and save their mother. Leo is called in by Prime Nial to help protect the women and he is awakened by Trinity and immediately knows she is his mate. He knows there is more going on but the women are not talking but their are assassins after them and they are dealing with Trinity's ardor as well. Then it becomes clear that they are royalty and the sisters split up with different plans and Trinity is front and center with the attention and being the princess holding her mom's throne and trying to find the assassin and traitor and they definitely have some work cut out for them. I really enjoyed the way that Trinity and Leo built their relationship and learned about each other in the midst of everything going on and finding the balance of Trinity being strong and independent and determined while Leo wants to protect her and keep her safe. They have to balance her being the princess and needing to keep her sisters safe and locate her mom and the traitors while allowing Leo to protect her and be there for her and have input. I can't wait for the next one and seeing what the other two sisters have gotten into.
The narrator did a good job with the story as well and bringing the characters to life and the action that was happening.

I really enjoyed this one! I loved how capable Danielle has. She has been dream sharing with her marked mate and knows something is wrong so she sets out to track him down, fully capable of doing so and rescues him. Gage is happy and upset at the same time since he doesn't want his mate in danger but she saved his life and it gives them the chance to be together. I loved how Danielle and her friends don't back down and are ready to take on what's coming and refuse to be left home and overly sheltered. Danielle's strength is great because Gage is a prince on Everis and is getting ready to take the throne and so she needs to be strong of mind and character in order to handle the changes and the new position. I loved how Gage was with Danielle as well. He realized that she was more of a female Hunter and not to be dismissed because she was a female and he works on finding the right balance of protecting her and respecting her abilities. This story definitely has some intrigue as someone has already tried to kill Gage once to stop him from ascending the throne to they need to stop any further attempts and catch who is at. This story was well written and intriguing and I liked it a lot.
The narrator was pretty good though not the best at female but he does change his voice between characters and showcases some action and emotion, though it can be hard at times to hear/catch everything (I listen in my car at times) with the tone and different volume levels he has though the characters aren't whispering. It didn't detract from the story too much and I still enjoyed listening to it.

This one was interesting. It did have a different take and feel to it this time with the fact that the 3 Viken mates had not tested together and had not originally been planning on sharing a mate and even after finding out she is matched to all of them, they want her to choose, at least at first. Violet is willing to be tested and be a bride as she is hoping and expecting to be matched to the same planet as her twin sister and be able to be reunited with her. Things do not go according to plan with her being matched to a different planet so she refuses transport. Her 3 mates, Calder, Zed, and Axon, all transport to Earth and want their chance to court and win over their mate. They also want to know why she refused transport and once they realize it has to do with her sister, they all offer and promise to locate and put them in contact again if she just gives them a chance. I liked that Axon was open to sharing from the beginning when he found out that that is what Violet wanted. This story was interesting since the guys are not all working together except to keep their mate safe and their idea of what it would look like and be like are all shifting on them. I enjoyed this one and watching them all get to know each other and finding a way to make things work for all of them.

I enjoyed this one. We get to see Helen and Zee find their way together. They have connected at the touchstone and their marks have awakened. Dream sharing has started but Zee is hiding his face from his mate and has her wearing a blindfold. He is seducing his mate and wants her but he is worried that the scarring on his face will scare her away so wants to win her over prior to letting her see, hoping that she will be in love with him at that point and not scared away. Helen loves her connection with Zee but doesn't know why he won't share his name and face with her, knowing that there has to be something to it and can feel a weight on him but is all in with him. I enjoyed this one and the way that she gets around the situation and doesn't care about his scars. It doesn't scare her away, she cares about what is on the inside and knows what those scars stand for.
The narrator did an okay job with this one, better for the male than female voice.

I enjoyed this one for the most part. I did like both Ryan and Fabian and was happy to get Ryan's book as we met him in the first in the series but there were times that things didn't entirely gel with me and the characters got a little frustrating. Ryan deals with a lot of anxiety that he is trying to keep under control and dealing with a little bit of a identity issue due to the role he plays in hockey. He pretty much ends up being traded from one team to another every year which has made it hard for him to build close relationships and due to his size, every coach has pretty much always made him an enforcer, which is not really something he enjoys. He is gay and is drawn to the opposite of himself. Fabian and Ryan knew each other from high school when Ryan came and stayed with his family for a year and they had chemistry but neither made a move for various reasons. I loved how Ryan and Fabian built their relationship and how Fabian accepted without judgement some of the things that Ryan was dealing with. There was some definite miscommunications between them and the adjustment of being so opposite and dealing with the other issues going on. The story was entertaining and I did enjoy it for the most part. Will be interesting to see what is coming next in the series.
The narrator did a good job with the characters for the most part but there were times where the audio of things volume wise were not the always the best. I would be able to hear and then it would get quieter and harder to hear for a little while. The actually voicing and acting out was well done.

I enjoyed this one! I liked Shane and Ilya. They meet during a juniors championship tournament and the rivalry was pretty much there from the very beginning as they are on opposite teams and sides and their talent has had them being compared. Ilya is very cocky and the competitiveness is very high between them and keeps that rivalry going. They continue to meet as they are both top draft picks shortly after that and again, continually compared to each other. They continue to circle around each other and they have a few moments that end up with them exploring things with each other when they are in town and in secret for years. I enjoyed the way that things built between them and the fun competitiveness that things turn into. It definitely takes some time and both think about stopping it for years and then it turns into more. I enjoyed the way that it built and developed and getting to see it throughout the years and the foundation that things end up built on. I enjoyed this one a lot and the banter between them. It has a little bit of enemies to lovers but more rivals and competitive.
The narrator did a good job with both characters and the Russian accent and really brought them to life.

I really enjoyed this one. It was fun going to Rogue 5 and meeting Styx and Blade as they are Hyperion and not exactly part of the coalition. They are on the outside and they have their own rules they follow but they somewhat work with the coalition and against the hive. They are kind of like space pirates in a way. There are 5 legions on Rogue 5 and they all have different leaders and factions. Styx is the leader of the Styx Legion and Blade is 2nd in command and when they meet their mate Harper things happen quickly. She is on Latari 4 and part of a med team, not looking for a mate, with the coalition and is out on a mission after having met the Styx and Blade when they are attacked and she just barely makes it back. Another Rogue faction/legion was there and they took supplies as well as people and killed others. Harper ends up going with Styx and Blade so they can keep her safe and it gives them time with her for them to win her over. I loved how Styx and Blade were with Harper. They were up front that she was their mate and that they wanted to mate her and bite her but they were willing to go at her pace for the most part. They were willing to hold off on the biting and permanent mating until she was ready for that but they also claimed her as their to their legion and made it obvious they were in it for the long haul. This story was entertaining and interesting and a little higher on the tension with trying to figure out what was going on with the legion that stole Harper's med team and put a stop to it while keeping Harper safe. The story was well written and flowed well. Looking forward to what comes next.
The narrators did a great job with the story as well and adding that extra dynamic to bring the story to life.

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end. I loved seeing Kristin show up and interact with her mates. She wanted to start over and get out from chasing the worst of the worst of the bad guys with the FBI. She wanted a chance at love and seeing what she saw, hard to get past that with human men. Hunt and Tyran work with the newly incoming contaminated warriors to the Colony and now they are going missing. I enjoyed watching them come together and it is high on the kink factor and well done. But we quickly get to see Kristin needing to help hunt the bad guys knowing that they are out there and she has expertise that could help. This story was entertaining and interesting and I was engaged from start to finish. I can't wait to see what comes next for the Colony series! Really enjoying it.
The narrators did a great job with the story as well and bringing it to life. It is dual style so they narrate when it is from their characters point of view and voice for all characters during that time. They all did a good job with the different voices to showcase the different characters and what was going on.
