It’s so annoying, I can’t finish the book. Not to mention she’s a lush. It overpowers the entire story line.

Too predictable and mushy. They all start out great, but then finish like they were rushed.

Not my favorite

Though I really enjoyed the stories of Mary Catherine, the story of Sierra and her husband left me feeling very unsettled. This book seemed like her husbands affair was her fault, and she was the one apologizing for everything. It just did not leave me with a peaceful feeling at the end of the read.

Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

too strong and unbelievable female lead character
Reviewed: 05-10-23
I struggled to finish this story because the female lead was overbearing and unbelievable for the time period. It just came across as some annoying girl who thinks she can save everyone from everything. It was sort of irritating to listen to.

A good story with a poor ending. Too many loose ends. It was captivating in the beginning, but lacked the same level of interest near the end.
