Story
When Josh Underwood is thrown through a wormhole and lands on an unfamiliar world, he is immediately attacked by flesh-eating worms and snarling wolves. He has one huge advantage. A ring sits on his finger, but it's no ordinary ring. It's alien tech designed to improve its host’s strength, speed, agility, durability and combat instinct. Not all boons are infinitely wondrous. This tech has to understand what Josh needs for it to evolve, and time is of the essence.

Don’t read this series. This book was OK.

I’ve read this entire series and I say looking back it was not worth it. It had such potential, but it was just everything was thrown together.

I can’t believe it took so long for this book to come out for such a short book. But overall, it’s pretty good. I think it’s gonna be interesting to see where it’s going from the future. Weakest moments of the series is one they’re back with all the rest of the people so it’s gonna be interesting to see more world building.

Story
The next prophesied Calamity was one of Civil War. Even without the presence of seditious groups such as the Order of Extinction and the Followers of Calamities undermining the unity of the world, the many disparate Kingdoms were barely cooperative at best. Meanwhile, Sungchul becomes increasingly exposed to the legends of the ancient dungeons hidden away by the Lesser Gods, which held the key to immortality. With the many factions hell-bent on power, it seems all but inevitable that these long-forgotten Dungeons of the Gods return to the forefront of the world.

Reviewed: 11-27-24
The series was a fun however I think it could much more interesting if the books were longer than spent more time on more building and filling in the caps and I love unanswered questions there was so much of focus I’m giving the next girl to many girls. There is just some things that make sense. Why is the main character still using a normal sword? After having things that are supernatural there should be special two weapons that come with his powers lasers stuff that makes more sense if this was conquering alien force overall disappointment.
