It does seem at first you have read this story before but then it veers into a completely different direction. A unique mechanized war machine futuristic book. Loved it!

A worthy addition to the Star Wars narrative. It begins to fill in some of the blanks and answer some questions in the story line leading up to episode 1 focusing mainly on the construction of the Death Star and the characters and subterfuge involved in its completion. I recommend this book to any Star Wars fan.
