Sounded like a young person who had just learned how. There was little voice inflection or moderation. I would have enjoyed the book more if I had known that the reader was not a loving person.

The entire book was great. The reader was great. What can I say, I am a big fan of Mr. Taylor. Once you start listening, you can’t stop.

I stopped listening after chapter 5. Everything jumped around. I have never knowingly listened to absurdist writing prior to today. I will not read again.

Not a good book. The reading was unpolished. The story was nothing special.

Would not recommend. There are other authors who are similar to this it, they are more polished

Reading could have been more professional. There could have been more emotion. Reading sounded flat.

I wasted all the time over the years by not having read these books. On the other hand, these are sophisticated books for a young woman. I’m glad that I finally read the wonderful Jane Austen.

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. I have been on a jag of reading medical “history” books that started with the book about Cancer. This book reminds me of the cancer book. I have listened to several others. The best one so far is the book about polio. But basically they are similar: man finds problem that cannot be solved. Man works like a dog along the way. Man has people he gets along with and those he does not. Man does not earn the Nobel prize when he should. Man keeps working on the problem. I look forward to the book that someone will write soon about COVID.

My only complaint was that I was able to anticipate the ending. The reader is excellent. I hope that this is not the last Elder Races book.

I have reads and/or listened to multiple Molly Harper books. I realize that they are books with HEA endings. This one goes beyond this to maudlin sentiment. You can have to much of a good thing.
