She suddenly finds her summer turning anything but amusing when her employer expects her to take over responsibilities as an assistant matchmaker. Another fun book by Jen Turano!

I just love the characters in Jen’s books! Gwendolyn was a delightful lady with a down to earth perspective in a world of society craziness! Walter loved his children but was clueless as to what they desperately needed from him! Gwendolyn to the rescue! With an insight into Newport society, children’s antics, much humor, and even a bit of intrigue, I highly recommend this book! The narrator was excellent and I’ll be looking for more of the books she’s narrated!

Story
After five unsuccessful Seasons on the marriage mart, Miss Adelaide Duveen has resigned herself to the notion that she's destined to remain a spinster forever—a rather dismal prospect, but one that will allow her to concentrate on her darling cats and books. However, when she inadvertently stumbles upon Mr. Gideon Abbott engaged in a clandestine activity during a dinner party, Adelaide finds herself thrust into a world of intrigue that resembles the plots in the spy novels she devours.

I absolutely adore Adelaide, a young lady with a sharp mind and a heart of gold, and Gideon, a handsome, compassionate man of society with secrets that aren’t so secret… as well as their supporting cast of characters! Such a fun book with intrigue, society mishaps, and much humor! I thoroughly enjoyed the narrator’s different voices and will be looking for more books she has narrated! I highly recommend this book!

I won’t give the synopsis of this book but Roseanna White has done it again! Rich characters and a pivotal time in history provides the basis for a wonderfully written book! I loved the growth in Phin and Delia, loved Luther and his search for Eva, and loved River and Selena! Sarah Zimmerman did an excellent job as the narrator! I’ll be looking for other books by her! Definitely worth your time!

Life After grabbed my emotions at the very beginning and didn’t let go!! As the lone survivor of a horrific train explosion, Autumn Manning suffers from massive survivor guilt! Life After does an excellent job at exploring the lives of the family members of those who died and how Autumn’s interaction with first Reece Elliot and then others, brings her peace. When secrets come to light, healing can truly begin. Excellent narration of an outstanding story! Highly recommended!

What a conclusion to this series!

I must confess I had a hard time liking Godfroi at the beginning of this book… but the message of forgiveness was strong and I was in tears by the end! The statement of the marriage needing three… God, the husband, and the wife… had been said in previous books but it was good to hear what had transpired to make that such a powerful statement!
Once again, Mary Sarah Agliotta, brought to life these characters and made them seem flesh and blood. She is an incredible narrator!

The reader was exceptional with her Scottish accents and added so much to my enjoyment! I highly recommend this book!

Story
From New York Times best-selling author Charles Martin comes a radical retelling of the prodigal son story. Cooper O'Connor thought he could make it big as a musician, but he promptly lost it all. Can he repair his relationship with the father who never stopped calling him home? At the age of 18, musician and songwriter Cooper O’Connor took everything his father held dear and drove 1,200 miles from home to Nashville, his life riding on a six-string guitar and the bold wager that he had talent. But his wager soon proved foolish.
