Unlike the writers of this series i lack the skill to properly express the joy i have recived from this series. All I can do is say that if you want a fantastic tale of epic proportions this is the series for you. I just wished the authors and narrator knew how much I and so many others have enjoyed this series.

Story
The world had become used to the metahumans - people sometimes perfectly ordinary, but sometimes quite extraordinary in appearance - who mostly worked with their governments as high-powered peace officers, fighting crime, and sometimes fighting rogue metahumans who had become super-criminals. Then that comfortable world ended in just one terrifying day.

I fell in love with this series years ago and realized that I still loved it when I rediscovered them on audible as a collection.

Imagine radio noir in the grand tradition - the mystery, excitement, and adventure of the medium's Golden Age. Now imagine that this has been combined with all of the technical polish that 21st century audio theatre techniques have to offer. That's The Adventures of Harry Nile. Produced by modern-radio legend Jim French, this collection features cases set in the 1940s. A hard-boiled but gentle-souled private investigator takes to the rain-swept streets of the Pacific Northwest.
