Story
The attacks of September 11, 2001, prompted the creation of a robust and deadly special operations force—Task Force Dagger. Alan C. Mack, Callsign Razor 03, led a team of MH-47E helicopters and armed MH-60s. Their two-fold mission–Personnel Recovery (PR) and Unconventional Warfare (UW) involved flying in terrain and weather previously not thought possible. If that wasn’t enough, they pushed the flight envelope of their specially modified Chinooks to the limit and beyond.

Story
The chiefs of staff, often referred to as "the gatekeepers", wield tremendous power in Washington and beyond; they decide who is allowed to see the president, negotiate with Congress to push POTUS's agenda, and - most crucially - enjoy unparalleled access to the leader of the free world. Through extensive, intimate interviews with 18 living chiefs (including Reince Priebus) and two former presidents, award-winning journalist and producer Chris Whipple pulls back the curtain on this unique fraternity. In doing so, he revises our understanding of presidential history.

Good material but not objective

The material is very good but the author couldn’t keep his political feelings out of it. Sadly if he ever had to debate a topic and take the other side lol… I wish authors would just stay to what they are writing without personal bias good or bad.

This is what H.S. teachers should have kids read
Reviewed: 02-07-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This story and Marcus Lettrell's actions should be taught in high schools. This is what we want our kids to aspire to be; mentally and patriotically.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Lone Survivor?
His honesty
Any additional comments?
On behalf of a retired NYPD Sergeant, Thank You Marcus
