Story
In 1967, four female scientists worked together to build the world’s first time machine. But just as they are about to debut their creation, one of them suffers a breakdown, putting the whole project - and future of time travel - in jeopardy. To protect their invention, one member is exiled from the team - erasing her contributions from history. Fifty years later, time travel is a big business. Twenty-something Ruby Rebello knows her beloved grandmother Granny Bee was one of the pioneers, though no one will tell her more.

I was spellbound from start to finish. The story was masterfully mapped out, folding in on it's self over and over again, creating a completely unique take on the time travel genre. I loved it.

fast pace, beautiful narrative, intense adventure spanning 10,000 years. Womack is truly a talented writer with the ability to see, taste, and smell a tale as she crafts the first sentence.

Anne Gallagher grew up enchanted by her grandfather’s stories of Ireland. Heartbroken at his death, she travels to his childhood home to spread his ashes. There, overcome with memories of the man she adored and consumed by a history she never knew, she is pulled into another time. The Ireland of 1921, teetering on the edge of war, is a dangerous place in which to awaken. But there Anne finds herself, hurt, disoriented, and under the care of Dr. Thomas Smith, guardian to a young boy who is oddly familiar.

Lyrical as a Keats poem, a time traveling, epic romance that I needed. I'll return to it again and again, when I need to be enchanted. My first Amy Harmon novel. Thank you, Amy.
