I'm a little confused about the Ulta short "book". Very little was revealed about Colum and Isabelle. If you want to write a prequel write one expanding on the subject with your usual development.

I liked the male version of the dragonfly gift. Tossed up in a royal intrigue connection with the lost progeny of Henry the VIII. Secrets and lies to protect the unusual couple emerging via this tale is most delicious.

Just love
Reviewed: 11-29-24
There was no war, desperate foes, just love, love making, babies, life threatening illness and accidents. The author does not rely on a formula to tell her stories and that's refreshing. This halfling story was special and hinted to another series in its reference to the Kama sutra.

Death is Merciful and Awful
Reviewed: 11-25-24
We are all two sides of the same coin if we allow ourselves to realize our own humanity. This book gives a believable reindentation of the human condition as we view life and death. I was brought to tears by Hamish's passing engendering a truly beautiful death watch.

Clever and bold, Ella Sutherland has won the right to call herself chief of her clan and struggles to hold onto the chiefdom against those who doubt a woman’s rule. When she’s captured by the darkly handsome Sinclair chief, she chooses death over wedding him and giving up her clan to their long-time enemy. For she has a secret, an oath she took years ago to protect and keep the clan seat for a great ruler to come. Cain refuses to let his brother, Death, honor Ella’s choice with an execution. He’s never before met a woman so brave and passionate.
