Story
Mia Lorenzo wasn’t exactly my top choice for a wife. She is 14 years younger, a hopeless romantic, and in line to become the head of the family that just orchestrated my father’s murder. Too bad my father's dying wish was for me to marry Luca Lorenzo's daughter. I will unite the two families for my father’s sake, even if it’s just to find proof that they killed him. The only problem is my brand-new wife. That auburn hair, those bright blue eyes, and the way my gut twists whenever I see another man go near her.

Dante and Mia
Reviewed: 04-07-24
Mia, the spoiled and very naive mafia princess is wed to Dante, Capo of his mafia family. Initially, Mia believes that their arranged marriage is something that she can learn to love. For Dante, the marriage is one of convenience, but also one of revenge. He wants to avenge his parents deaths by punishing their murder. Little does he know that Mia is more than he bargained for.
If you like the twisted and intense world of Mafia romances, then you'll appreciate this book. I did feel like the characters were a little under developed, especially Mia, but I still really liked the story.

Story
Grant Neville is my father’s best friend. The person he trusts the most in the world. Forbidden territory personified. I know it is wrong on so many levels, but I can’t seem to get enough of his presence.... His ocean-blue eyes have a way of finding me in every room, his dimples make my knees go weak, and my hands itch to be buried in his dark hair. But I know better by now. My history with older men has left me with plenty of scars, and Grant is not just any older man.

Solace Sister's Series - Grant and Harley
Reviewed: 04-07-24
Grant is a older, established, and successful man. He values his family, and his true friends. Imagine his inner struggles when he figures out he's in love with his best friend's daughter. Harley is a successful young woman who instantly feels the attraction and connection with her father's best friend. This story is a roller coaster of emotions and the two find their way together.
I must admit that I'm in love with this series after just book one. Grant and Harley's story instantly caught my attention. The narrator captured the connection between the characters perfectly. The story line wasn't overly dramatic.

Story
Bringing sunshine to a frozen town, I sought simplicity. But a blizzardy encounter with him became my true tempest. Why rescue me from the storm and then retreat back inside his shell? His past holds secrets; his silence is a story. A gruff demeanor that I aim to crack. Dominant dismissals only stoke my submissive desires to crack his rugged exterior and expose the passionate heart that lies within. Amidst howling winds, passions ignite.

Noah is a grumpy rich guy who is looking for a change. He finds his change in Lily and her unique diner. The two really seem to hit it off and are doing well, until a miscommunication and a natural disaster flip their little town up-side-down.
I really liked this story. It was clean, sweet, romantic, and relatable. The characters were realistic and the story kept my attention.

Wonderful story line

This was a great read. The characters were easy to like (most of them) and the situations and issue in the story line were easy to relate to. There was death, illness, domestic violence, love, happiness and sadness.
Laurel, who had a traumatizing childhood, loses her Aunt, who she was so incredibly close to. During her lose, she learns that friends can be family and family can be disastrous!.

Not my usual cup of tea, but pleasantly surprised.
Reviewed: 02-08-24
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. This is not my usual type of read, but I found it charming and the story line was easy to follow. This story is based on Kenzie Wardwell, who's family has been cursed for years. Kenzie has her own struggles with her family and a sister that disappeared on her. Enter Colby, a man who catches Kenzie's attention and makes her feel things she's never felt before.
This story is well written and I'm excited to read the next book in the series.

Story
Ash is a walking red flag. He is domineering and always in a bad mood. Tragically widowed, yet still in love with his long-dead wife, a single dad to three mini versions of himself, and much too old for me. But I’ve wanted him since I was 16. Seeing him again more than a decade later, all those old feelings just rush back in. Every time when I look up into his deep green eyes, dark scruffy beard, and kissable dimples, all I want is to fall into his arms and never leave. Too much wine and one bed-rocking night later, everything changed.

Once I started this audio book, I couldn't stop. The story line was easy to follow and the characters were relatable. Ash, a widow, fell for his best friend's daughter, who is also the age of his own children. It was fun to see the plot come full circle. I would definitely read more from this author.

I really liked this book, and with not starting with book one first, I wasn't lost at all on the characters. I feel like this series could be read as a stand-alone or in order. The step-brother/step-sister relationship didn't seem all that taboo in this series. I couldn't put this book down though. You can't help but to fall in love with the characters of Madison and Garrett. Madison is sweet, hard-working, and has been screwed over. Garrett is sexy, protective, and has Madison in his sights, whatever it takes.

How can something so wrong be so perfect at the same time? Rule number five - I'm going to show you some things that you'll never forget. It's wrong. Not just this, but everything. I knew it was wrong, but I thought I could get away with it. Why, though? I'm not like this. I'm good. I'm the good girl, the girl with perfect grades, the girl who does everything right, prim and proper. I don't cause trouble, I don't get into trouble, I don't....

This wasn't my favorite of the series so far. I feel like the story was really short. Ashley makes a HUGE mistake and I think it will play a much larger role in their future story line. I do love that you can tell that Ashley and Ethan are just drawn to one another.

Story
We all have our strengths and weakness. We're all good at something and bad at something else. This is why we need each other. This is why it makes sense for Ethan and me to be together. I'm the good girl, the careful, cautious one who thinks before she acts. Ethan is the bad boy, the risk taker, the person who jumps into action regardless of the consequences. Sometimes you can't wait to think before you act, though. Sometimes you can't be careful or cautious.

I love that the whole family now knows about the elephant in the room. The new characters are bringing a new spin to the story and the support that both Ashley and Ethan are receiving from their parents is awesome. The shower scenes and camping scenes in this one get quite steamy.

Bad boys love bad ideas. It's kind of their thing, isn't it? Ethan's no exception. Rule Number Seven - I don't care what you've done before. It doesn't matter. It's about what you want to do now. I'm really bad at being a good girl, aren't I? I blame Ethan. He's corrupting me. It's the perfect excuse, but I'm not sure how much longer I can keep using it.
