Story
If I was to dream up the perfect man even my wildest imagination would have fallen short compared to Cole Nichols. Tall, broad shoulders, smile to die for and dreamy green eyes that held a mischievous glint. Add in a heart of gold, always helping others in need. We had planned out every detail of our lives together…including his dream of becoming a major league pitcher. So when my gran got sick and I needed to take care of her, I gave him the push he needed, breaking my heart, and his, in the process.

A Great Christmas Cozy!
Reviewed: 12-17-24
A very cute Christmas cozy! Forced proximity, snowed in, & overcoming heartbreak. There is great humor & sweet kisses. This book almost made me, who absolutely loves Halloween, say “let’s skip it & move to Christmas!” lol. This a great quick cozy read. Makes me want beef stew & hot chocolate. I definitely recommend to those who just like hugs & kisses, cozy reads, Christmas reads, young adults. The narrators are perfect for this book. They definitely bring Noel and Cole to life, and I really really enjoyed listening to it.

What a comfort

Im excited to try the methods in this book. I have anxiety & it is one of the contributing factors to my stress level. I also occasionally suffer from caregiver burnout. So managing my stress level is important to me. When I’m not stressed it means I don’t get angry easily when my kids do stupid little things that should not about me. I do love the references in the book. I actually know some of the names from when I had to do projects & research for my medical degree. If you are looking for an aid to help reduce stress give this a try. It’s simple exercises you can do & incorporate into your routine & it’s customizable. She gives you the 28-day template to test & try out the methods mentioned in the book so you can find the ones that work the best for you. The narrator is a kind friendly voice. It helps give you confidence in working on & getting started on this 28-day program. I have done it for 1 week now & I have already noticed a difference. I’m looking forward to continuing.

Story
A movie star, a grump next door and a dating experiment gone awry. My brother’s best friend has always been a gorgeous thorn in my side. He’s the famous Sean O’Connell, rom-com celebrity, owner of a smile that can melt even the coldest of hearts. My new next-door neighbor is not the man of my dreams. He’s one of the happiest people I’ve ever met, and to be honest, it’s annoying. I don’t have to be happy or like people. I’m good, thank you very much.

Reread Worthy

This was such a fun read. The fake dating was hilarious & envious. Normally I would rate this 4 stars cause it was a great story, with some predictable character plots but the traditionalism & display for chivalry & insisting on the chivalry won my heart. My father raised me with how a man is supposed to treat a woman. And sad chivalry in today’s world is hard to find. I will absolutely love to read this again!!

Really in depth
Reviewed: 11-04-24
What I mean by in depth is that there is a lot of soul searching for the character. There are those that help to guide those that have passed on into finding themselves again so they can make the choice on whether or not to live free as an elf or be in part of the order of Shiran. I was a little lost during the book because sometimes I can get confusing with the different scenarios happening, but they’re at least a few main characters that kind of help tie things together and of course the ending was just the best. I love the ending. Narrator did an amazing job I think. He really brought this to life. I don’t think I would’ve been able to physically read the book so I’m glad I had the audio.

Love the style
Reviewed: 11-02-24
This was a great fantasy read, and it’s basically the memories of a dragon before he’s being thrown out of his and you get to hear about how he got started in the town and how he protected them and the mistakes he learned from. Different things that happened overtime that brought about the assassin in his cave right now. This was a very interesting book 1st and it took me a little bit to catch on in the beginning to what was happening but once I figured it out, everything flowed really well. The writing style really fit, and it was great to actually kind of envision this dragon as a storyteller, even though he made a bargain to leave after telling his story to the assassin. Plus you get the assassins ark growth & how she started to view the dragon and to how she ended up viewing the dragon and it’s a good character development. if you want a good fantasy storytelling, watching a city build through the dragons eyes this is definitely the book for you.

It's election time in Pigsend, and Pigsend's mayor Jo Hendry is up for re-election, but she's not the only candidate in the race. Pip Norris, the farrier, Wilda Murtagh, the cousin of the perfidious mayor from Middleburg, Gore Dewey, the blacksmith, and Hans Silver, a local farmer, have thrown their hats into the ring, too. And if Earl Dollman's polling is to be believed, it's going to be a tight race. But when every candidate except Hendry receives a letter threatening to expose their "secret," Bev's once again called to investigate.

Somehow I knew who was going to be Mayor of Pigsend, I just didn’t know all the secrets people have! Much like a true political race people are being blackmailed about family secrets. The candidates just want to protect their family from the queens irrational laws. Also true to political fashion you are kept guessing on who might be the winner.
I greatly dislike politics & all its ugly faces. Despite this I really enjoyed this book. You learn a lot about many characters in the series.
An amazing fantasy cozy mystery series! I can’t wait to read the rest!

This Novella is about the last couple that appears in the series and it is Hector, the new Prince consort and Rowena the new queen and it is all about their new adventure of working with together and trying to show Rowena’s kingdom that Hector is there to help and not too undermine Her rule.
If you read this series, I highly recommend reading all the Novellas’s that go in between each novel. It totally adds that much more to the series and makes it really enjoyable.

This was a super thrilling end to the series. It has all the twist and turns and the mystery and it is just crazy to think that these mirrors can do this and we finally figure out who this sorcerer is and why he is doing this, and the kids which are not kids anymore are working with a friend of theirs who is the new queen when all of a sudden she turns on them and starts working with the sorcerer.
This is a pretty great series. I would definitely recommend it to young adults. It’s got a great fantasy plot line lots of adventure and totally fits in with that teenage attitude. This is a good family-friendly book.

Okay I’m guessing I missed the memo in the very first book ha ha! This Novella just made all the titles & adventures that have happened so far “click”. Ok soo, in case you read my other reviews on this series the titles of the books are items the witches in the series need to create their spell books! While this is not always clear in the story it is certainly made clear in this Novella. Penelope & Raven go on a summer quest to retrieve all the items that Raven will need to complete her spell book. She has arrived late to the academy for reasons you know by now. So in an effort to help Her catch up to the rest of the witches in her class the 2 decide to spend the summer together traveling & gathering the supplies needed. The Rattleback skin, Sacred Tree Bark, & a Roc Feather. This Novella is a must read in between the last 2 novels. It has information you need to understand parts of book 5.
This is an amazing Novella. I’m loving the character development. A great book series so far.

The series is getting better with each book
Reviewed: 09-15-24
This book was great & frustrating in a good way. The kids are tasked with making a camp to last a year. Living off the land. Their other objective is to work with the mermaids to be able to obtain Kraken Ink. They came up with a plan so that they can survive the winter & got to work. The mermaids came to visit & make introductions. Things of course take a turn for the worse when the mermaids are forced to leave the ocean due to kraken attacks. The kids must figure out why the krakens are attacking the mermaids that way the mermaids can move out of their camp & stop wasting their resources.
Loved this book. The frustration is all the teenage emotions of having to build a sustaining camp & then they offer the help the mermaids when the krakens attack & the mermaids just take advantage of them “innocently”. This series is getting better & better. I recommend it to young adults who like fantasy & intrigue & it could also be a great family read.
