Since I listened to this book, I found that I needed to pay attention to the action and where in the world everyone was. Because I did, I was able to keep up with all the action & found it a nice challenge to try and figure out what was going on. Definitely a few surprises which was great. I recommend this book.

I enjoyed listening to another Ellie Alexander Bakeshop mystery. Since I enjoy vacationing in Ashland and have missed cruising because of the pandemic, it was nice to listen to this story line. Hopefully soon I will be back visiting Ashland and do more cruising.

Thoroughly enjoyed this novel!! With a terrific author, Louise Penny, and a Washington insider, Hillary Clinton, they came up with a page turner of a novel. I loved the Three Pines references too! If they come out with another book, I wii be first in line!!

I just listened to a nice cosy mystery that takes place in Ashland Oregon. My family goes there almost every summer. Listening to a “local’s” point of view was fun for me. I didn’t guess who dunnit, and I am usually pretty good at doing this. Bravo Ellie, I will be listening to more!

I enjoy listening to Christmas story books around the holiday and this one fit just perfectly.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I love Lady Georgiana and her Darcy!
What about Katherine Kellgren’s performance did you like?
She is able to carry off the different voices and I can keep track which character is speaking.
Any additional comments?
This was "light listening" book, which is exactly what I needed in between the weighter books that I listen to.
