Hi, I'm Kit. Immortal vampire and technomage extraordinaire. You know how it goes. For the record, I am absolutely not stalking my reincarnated husband. Okay, I am, but it's for his own good. And mine. Er, assuming I can somehow figure out how to tell him he's reincarnated and a mage, and we all live in a sentient library. Any thoughts on that? I'm currently taking suggestions. These two characters truly come off the page for me and I just want to hug them. While there were some inconsistencies like Kit giving Gun details and then in a later chapter doing it again... I was on swivel looking back to confirm that yes, that information had in fact already been imparted in an earlier chapter. All in all I loved the characters and hope there is another book to follow.

I discovered this book quite by accident and am certainly happy I did. Looking forward to more books with Simeon, Angel, Isaac, Daniel and the others from this book. Definitely worth the read/listen. Narrator did an amazing job.

I was still able to think straight until I found out Noel had a son. All my common sense went out the window when I watched him care for the kid. The last thing Noel wanted was another relationship, and the last thing I wanted was heartbreak. So, I made a deal with myself that I knew I wouldn't be able to keep. Three words were all I needed to remember: No strings attached. I was prepared for everything except… the two pink lines on a stick.

I love this series and am in love with the voice actors! However, this isn't my favorite book of the series. Harper is so incredibly self-centered, that I found myself actually talking the her and rolling my eyes that she needed to get over herself. I stopped listening so many times because of the way she's written. Love the rest of the characters especially Noel

I will continue the series, but unfortunately the female narrator is the worst one I've been exposed to in just under 400 books. Her general narrative is fine, but when she attempts to slip into other characters she sounds flat and robotic. She should just stick to the general narrative and not attempt to change voice inflection. I like the story and am invested in the characters though.

I hated that he took it out on me because he didn't want to be here. I hated that he brought girls from our high school back to his room.
