Story
In October of 2013, Drew Hayes began posting a story to his website. Written over the thirteen days leading up to Halloween, when each chapter ended the next step was chosen by the readers. Sometimes this led to great discoveries and triumphs, other paths led to Dead Ends, though even in those there was much to be gleaned. For ten years, this tradition occurred, until in the year of 2022, the readers chose a finale. This is their story: a tale of deaths and decisions that spanned a decade.

Story
A hulked-out wrath demon who eats gamer rage and loves cats, a shapeshifting lust demon who enjoys their food a bit too much, and a void demon who doesn’t see the point of any of this. They’re not the sort of mercenaries you'd hire on purpose, but Bex wouldn’t trust her life to anyone else. Ever since the ancient Mesopotamian king Gilgamesh decided death wasn’t for him, killed the gods, and conquered the afterlife, times have been rough for a free demon.

Kind of boring, nothing juicy
Reviewed: 09-27-24
I love Eve. The book was well written and Eve is, well, Eve
But this had nothing juicy. It was rather boring.
Eve knows Diddy, Eve ran with Ruff Ryders. She had to have quite a few juicy stories. She told none. I didnt return it but the book was kind of boring.

Story
I have never been favored by the gods. Far from it, thanks to Zeus. Living as a cursed office clerk for the Order of Thieves, I just keep my head down and hope the capricious beings who rule from Olympus won’t notice me. Not an easy feat, given San Francisco is Zeus’ patron city, but I make do. I survive. Until the night I tangle with a different god. The worst god. Hades. For the first time ever, the ruthless, mercurial King of the Underworld has entered the Crucible—the deadly contest the gods hold to determine a new ruler to sit on the throne of Olympus.

I have read so many books about the Greek gods. In so many different iterations, and this one was a breath of fresh air. I like the writing. I liked the depth of the book and I liked the interesting plot. I'm only about 2 hours in, but I can tell. I'm really going to enjoy this book because it's a page-turner. I would definitely recommend getting this book. And I would definitely recommend this author again.

Story
If you've ever worked in customer service (or any job, really), you know that everyone else—the customer, the boss, the company—is always right, and never the employee. Well, lucky for you, the "Angry Retail Guy" is more furious—and funnier—than ever in this hilariously unhinged guide to all the things we wish we could say out loud at work . . . without getting fired. In The Customer Is Always Wrong, you'll laugh (and maybe cry) at this rant-filled, illustrated attack on all the frustrating things that suck about work.

it's definitely a 5 star book
The author is hilarious and truthful. But I deducted 1 star because there is no accompanying. pdf. I don't know if that's Scott's fault or Audible. Once rhe accompanying. pdf is available I'll bring it up to 5 stars
Again, i wish i could give this 100 stars lol. So hilarious

Story
You may know Jimmy Failla as the best dressed man in cable news. A force multiplier of positive energy on the radio who sounds like he gets paid in Tequila and Tide Pods. But he’s also a former New York City Taxi Driver who’s spent countless hours conversing with people from all over this planet and several planets you’ve never heard of. It’s those chats with hobbits, hookers, and time travelers that fill The Cancel Culture Dictionary with the unique perspective and savage self-awareness we need to escape the outrage era society is stuck in.

This is better than tales from the gas station
Reviewed: 03-13-24
I love Jack's writing. Unfortunately, tales from the gas station starts leaning into sci-fi, which is where it loses me. I live his writing and his characters. I love horror and am not a fan of sci-fi in books, so he kind of lost me on that series. I have 2 hours to go on this book and I am loving every minute . It has a few standard tropes bit overall this book is absolutely amazing. Must buy.

Story
Once upon a time, in the magical land of San Francisco, there lived a not-so-ordinary girl named Laurel Pettigrew. She was supposed to be the Chosen One. The plan was simple: She would vanquish the great evil Tybus in an epic battle. But destiny had other ideas, and Laurel's performance in the whole heroics department was a colossal flop. Now, instead of being a legendary hero, Laurel's the resident pariah of the magic realm. And what’s worse, the dark wizard Tybus swooped in, took over the realm, and forced all supernatural creatures to live under his tyrannical rule.

The top 10 list is populated. The sponsorship program is open. The difficulty is ramping up. The first three floors were nothing compared to what Carl and Donut now face. The Iron Tangle. An impossibly complicated subway system built out of the world's subterranean railway systems, all combined and then tied together into a knot. Up is down.
