Story
A sexy, cocky Australian soccer star named Finn was the last person I expected to be living with for two weeks. He showed up at my brother’s house on his wedding night, hot, drunk, and very much not married. Next thing I knew, we were roommates, spending nights watching TV and getting to know one another. Those two weeks turned into more than either of us bargained for. He was fresh off a broken heart and I had a boyfriend. I wasn’t supposed to fall for the jilted jock, especially when I knew we’d be going our separate ways. All good things must come to an end, right?

Rebecca Does It Again
Reviewed: 08-24-20
This is my second book in the Hero Club and I must admit that I was a little lost with some of these characters stories. I mainly focused on Flynn and Adele's story and what was going on in this book. I found the writing to be excellent and the characters to be well developed. I loved the story from start to finish. I have yet to read a bad book by Rebecca Jenshak.
As usual, I loved Muffy Newtown. She always does a wonderful job. This was my second time hear Rupert Channing and I had forgotten the first time. It was a little jarring at first but I found his voice to be really nice after I got used to it.

We start off with a lie on Valentine’s Day. My blind date isn’t the studious guy I expected: He’s a drop-dead gorgeous player with sinful amber eyes. Somehow we end up at his penthouse. I blame the gin and tonic. The next day I learn he’s Jack Hawke - bad-boy professional quarterback with a murky past.

Just didn't feel this one
Reviewed: 08-20-20
This book just didn't do it for me. I really like Elena. I thought for the most part she was sassy and fun. I did feel that she let too many people walk all over her. Which I dislike in a female character. Jack was a different story. I just didn't really like him. I thought he was what the media portrayed him as, an a--hole. I didn't see what Elena saw in him. It just seemed to me that their relationship was based on s-x.
As far as the book itself. I found the characters well developed and as usually the story to be well written. I just really wish I would have like the story more.
I loved Savannah Peachwood as Elena but Eric G Dove was just alright.

Story
What happens when a woman falls in love with her stalker? I'm not the type of woman who actually inspires passion in any guy, much less one who makes it a habit to watch me because he's obsessed. I'm a curvy, plain Jane. I'm an educated geek who would rather have my nose in a computer instead of a fashion magazine. But none of those things seem to matter to Stalker. He sees something in me that I don't see in myself, and I don't know why. I'm terrified, yet I'm inexplicably intrigued.

This collection was one of those books that I just couldn't wait to get over. I was torture to finish. It kind of creeped me out that they kept calling him stalker. The barn scene creeped me out. Who would think that was okay. I did like the narrators though. I found them good. They were the only good part about this collection.

I thought this book was alright. I didn't really like Mia and never really understood why she was a recluse. The reason the author gave just didn't really make sense to me. I felt that some of the drama was forced and just thrown in because the author thought it was needed to make the book more interesting. The characters seemed really flat to me. I didn't really feel any connection to them or the book. It was one of those books where I wished it would just end so I could move on. As far as the narrators go, I'm not really a fan or either one of them. I can listen too them but prefer not to if I don't have to. I won't be moving on to the next book in the series. This book was given to me by the author for free.

The bet was simple. You draw a name from the hat. That's the girl you have to seduce. The girl you have to make fall head over heels in love with you. It wasn't hard for him to do, in fact, it was something he did all the time. He was known for breaking hearts. Sex was just that, sex. And it didn't take him very long to get a woman on her back. And then he drew her name: Jules Peterson. His former best friend, first kiss, and first love. She shattered his heart into a million pieces three years ago. She left him right when he needed her most.

I just didn't like this book. The first part was Remi whining about everything. Then the second part is Jules whining about everything. Along with the dumb reason Remi was mad at Jules in the first part and the dumb reason she was mad at him in the second part, it just wasn't good. It's a shame too because I love Teddy Hamilton and love to listen to just about any book he reads but this book was just a waste of his talent. He made the book Ava Lucas was alright.

This was a really good conclusion to Liar Liar. Things started to come together and I had figured out some of what was going on by the time I reached near the end but once again, L.A.Cotton threw in a twist that I didn't see coming. I really had problems with Becca in this book. The way she kept things from Evan and to me they weren't really that bad. She was a naive teenager, they can do stupid things sometimes. I really liked Evan but I thought he should have pushed Becca more for the truth. Over all I did enjoy the book. It's been a long time since I read a book that kept me guessing so much and still had be surprised in the end.

I found this to be a very interesting book. It kept me thinking. I had ideas of what was going on and why but the ending threw me. I didn't expected it at all. Was defiantly worth the listen. L.A. Cotton is a great writer who keeps you engrossed in the characters and the stories she writes. I didn't really care for the narrator all that much but I guess she was good for a teenager.

This wasn't supposed to be my life. One phone call was all it took to bring me back to the small town I had grown up in. Everything had changed, and staying away was no longer an option. Four and a half years later, I was a widowed single father still here, still trying to pick up the pieces. We were doing fine on our own, my little girl and me. At least, we were until Camryn Parker stumbled into our lives. The woman was like a tornado after a hurricane; she was the storm I never saw approaching. Behind her beauty and sarcastic wit, she was just as broken as I pretended not to be.

I had high hopes for this book. I had put off listening to it for a long while but decided to give it a shot because I love Teddy Hamilton. But, it feel flat. It was kind of cute at the beginning but when I got to the car part, I burst out laughing because it was so wrong and for him to be a mechanic. What? Please, if you don't know anything about a subject then don't write about it or at least ask someone that does know about it first.
I had a good idea what was going to happen but when it did I found Camryn kind of week. I mean after all the cruel things Tucker said to her, she just pretty much sweeps it under the rug. And after some of the other stuff he did. I don't know how she forgave him at all. I feel like the author was just rushing the ending so she did a lot of telling instead of showing. It would have made the book better if she would have played the ending out more instead of rushing through it. I will read the next book in this series to see if it improves but that will probably be the last book I every read of K. Street.

What happen to her self-defense training?
Reviewed: 04-25-20
I thought this book started out good. Ryann was a kick butt kind of girl at first but somewhere along the line she became this week being. Now I know it would be scary after all she'd been through but self-defense classes teach to put that fear away temporarily to save yourself. When Ryann needed that knowledge she didn't use it. As far as Cash goes, he was alright but I found him a little dumb as a detective. I won't get into why because it might spoil the story. I also found him way over bossy and can't believe Ryann let him get away with it.
Over all it was a decent book. The narrators really made it better.
