This was a good start to a new E.M. Lindsey story. I have read novels of E.M. Lindsey with the same kinds of themes, as hearing impaired and mute MCs. This novel is with a minor and I love those too, single dads who fall in love (MM). I appreciate the audiobook of the series, not only the first book in the series, but all of the books, then I can switch to listening when I’m driving or busy around the home. I do not need to be long-winded here; I love E.M. Lindsey’s work and recommend it in general and this series in particular, because I know it’s going to be entertaining. 🩷💚🧡

Beautiful story. I give it 4 stars, because I didn’t get enough inside story on Grey. Maybe with ‘And All Their Stars’ I’ll get more on his backstory. Jonah is a sweetheart too and I love him for doing what he did for Grey, sending him off all the way to Australia and going home to take over his dad’s shop. His family is cool for embracing their (grand)son and Grey, plus an adopted cute little girl. I recommend work of Riley Nash, by the way I listened to her books; Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair have outstanding narration voices. 🩷

I loved this story, as it positions two broken young men who fall in love and take care of each other. No one comes in between them anymore, not that strange power-hungry father nor the abusive coach. The plot is revealed in the end as usual and I love Ethan for loving Victor and not letting anyone taking that away from him.

This is the type of story that captivates me from start to finish. What a sweet MC Zack is, loving his clueless boyfriend. I was rooting for him (although it was obvious he was going to be takken care of). I enjoyed the narrators also and will most definitely revisit this book. Come on Kate, I want to dive into more from your hand. I definitely recommend your work. 🩷

I read book 2 in this series first and boy…. what a treat! I couldn’t put it down, the drama-filled romance and pining for the love of his life was off the charts! This book 1…. Much less. The parents were arseholes for no reason and the world-building left somewhat to be desired. Cole and Eli just didn’t get me too engaged in their ever-lasting love. The narrator for Cloe has a sexy as sin voice, but Aiden’s narrator sounded like a nerd. Didn’t have to be so. I love Marly Valentine books, they’re hot and steamy. This one lacked the story for me. Still give it 4 ****, because it’s Marley. 🩷

This was a fictional romance, that had A LOT to unpack, which I could not, as the story did not pull me in and make me listen intently an rewind the parts that I had missed. It wasn’t for me, I concluded.

The MCs wasted a period of 10 years to come after this time to confess their dying love for each other. No plot, no real contents to the story, but a HEA. That’s what it’s all about; love. 🩷

This spy/murder story that introduced Page and Sommers was a bit complex to me, as I am more romance-focused. And Sommers’ problem with seeing/smelling blood was also a ‘hmm…’ moment, since he’s a medical dr. But overall I dis get into the story and am ready to read book 2. 💜

A lot going on in this story, the side-characters get married in a heartbeat and there’s no separate story about them, which I would’ve appreciated. The voice of Niall was at times so deep, it was difficult to understand. This murder story was a bit far-fetched. All in all, not my best-rated murder-mystery series. I gave this book and the whole series a 4 star rating, because Elle Keaton is a good writer.

I listened to the audiobook and Michael’s narration became more relaxed as time went by. Thank goodness. The contents, the plot was predictable, but that didn’t keep me from listening to the end.
