Story
Every night, when I close my eyes, I relive that moment. The heat, the smoke, and the cruel smile on her face. For the longest time, I believed them. All I wanted was to find a place to belong, to be needed. But who could ever need me, a prey shifter? How can a rabbit be useful, especially when I lack elemental magic?

Great story
Reviewed: 12-21-24
The story was great. The characters were great. The female narrator was great. Did not like the male narrators one of them did this gasping thing every time they would take a breath or talk, and there was really no clear tone between the different characters. will be finishing the series by reading it probably not on audio though. I really did like the book itself though. and just because I didn’t like the male narrators doesn’t mean somebody else wouldn’t love them so I would still give it a listen.

Since the day Lord Dillon earned his spurs, rumors of his savagery on the battlefield have preceded him into every room, stilling tongues and sparking fear. Weary of battle, he wishes only to find a woman he can wed who will approach him not with fear but with the tenderness that has been absent from his life for so long. Yet only the wisewoman seems invariably at ease in his presence.

Story
My family has always found me lacking. From the way I dress, how I look, to the type of magic I have. My family name is full of pomp and prestige, and I want nothing to do with it. I’m a witch that knows how to set a goal and I have one in mind. I want a real family. It seems too good to be true that I can give the list of traits I want in a partner and have my deepest desire answered, but I’m out of options. From the very first moment I meet Elliot Bramblewick, I have hope. But he’s tricky. I’m not expecting him to be hiding two other mates.

I really really enjoyed this book. I really like the movie, and I think that the movie followed the book very well except for the ending!!!!! I was very surprised with what happen with how the book ended versus with how the movie ended and honestly I really like both it just gives it to very different endings and I thought each one was sad but well done

Yeah, I’m the one they talk about. The headmaster’s prized possession, locked away in the bell tower of Notredame Parochial College. To most of the students, I was just a myth. An urban legend. The girl who rings the bells up in the tower, the one who talks to gargoyles.

Story
Since the Final War, I’ve been doing just fine. I have a lovely cave, a darling vegetable patch, forest views . . . and if loneliness sometimes squeezes my aching heart, well, my books have always kept me company. That is, until a pack of hunters chase me from my home and right into the arms of several rather large, rather brutish ex-Army Rangers. And those brutes have the nerve to make me the rudest offer I’ve ever heard. Their protection—for my body.

My dark knights thought their shadows would be too much for me, but they're quickly learning that they're not the only ones who’ve kept their deepest desires a secret. Now that we’ve crossed that line, they can't keep their hands off me. I didn't think they could get any more protective, but I was wrong.
