ok I love books like these but using the humans as breeding stock?!?! almost as bad as aliens coming to do anal probes on humans!!!! lol it's stock alien invasion story including the genius savior. if you like alien invasion stories this is a good book, but don't look for a intellectual masterpiece.

I've read and listened to a lot of c r deams work and this just doesn't seem to match up. sorry, I still think if you got the extra credit to burn go for it, but if you don't try some of his other work. it's really slow and it doesn't get to the meat of the story until the last 3 or 4 chapters. just a grind but I think it's one of his early works.

waited for a while for this and Mr kade didn't disappoint. as usual you throw swashbuckling fights, heroic quests, twist and turns. our hero has more of his history finally fleshed out and confirmed, yet still left some mysteries yet to be solved. so I guess the wait is on for book 5! lol

I first read feist back when I was a young man, I though there was no way for a second series that rivaled the rift war series! I was wrong, this first book had everything that the rift war series had and more, but unlike the rift war saga it unique enough to be totally different! heros, heroines, villains, and your average man are abound in this new book. if you loved Pug and the whole rift wat saga then this is a must get! you want be disappointed!

Story
Smarter is a near future sci-fi/thriller whose young heroine, Ell Donsaii, we learned in Quicker, has a nerve mutation that makes her an athletic phenomenon, so fast that no one can keep up with her. Like Stieg Larsson's Lisbeth Salander (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Ell is a mathematical genius who, while trying to drift off to sleep, instead of counting sheep, has developed a new theory of quantum mechanics. At once shy and concerned about her social skills, yet loved by those around her, she goes to grad school to try to understand experimental physics.
