Story
Roughly a month has passed in-game since Thorn's attack on the Twilight Throne. In that time, the dark city has managed to recover and rebuild - growing the ranks of Original Sin at the same time. Which is good, because that brief respite is over. The Avatar of Flame has risen within the depths of the northern desert and has thrown down a digital gauntlet to Jason - with a gate piece hanging in the balance. Even worse? His opponent is none other than Finn Harris, the "father of modern AI". The same man that may have been behind Thorn's attack on the Twilight Throne.

Adventuring is a costly affair, and while the tolls are often paid in blood, gold can drain away just as quickly. The party's trek out of Solium and across the lands of Alcatham has left them with only a handful of gold between them. Fortunately, they have drawn near Camnarael, Alcatham's capital, where all manner of quests - and rewards - await. But all is not as expected in the capital.

i cant wait for the 4th. i loved the story but i had hard time to pick up when the reader switched settings. overall good and yet again why grumble's voice changed again and the blacksmith npcs kept their russian tone lol. another funny thing i noticed is that female elfs are greedy. i loved tim and the boar and admire tim determination to become a paladin and i hope to hear more from him on the next installment

Story
Justan was raised on the outskirts of the Dremaldrian Battle Academy. He watched his father ascend the ranks within the academy to become one of the most respected warriors in the kingdom. The only thing he has ever wanted is to become an academy student and follow the path of his father. Unfortunately, only the best can enter the academy and Justan is a horrible fighter. Everyone tells him that he is more suited to scholarly work than swordplay.

i have started reading from book 2 to 5 missing this one . the characters and events will link from this one after book 4. i love the story but i feel the events folded too quickly. iwanted to hear more of justan childhood. every character has thier own story and makes you think what they have done and what future holds for them. a great book with a little of everything from dramatic action-packed moments to sad and funny events. i really recommend it
